These extra wide suit hangers do a great job supporting heavier clothing without causing shoulder creases or fabric stretching. The wider shape helps jackets, coats, and structured shirts maintain their form much better than thinner standard hangers. I spent more time reorganizing the closet than testing the hangers because they immediately made everything look cleaner and more organized. The black finish gives them a simple professional appearance that works well in any closet setup. The plastic feels durable and the metal hooks rotate smoothly, making it easy to position garments without hassle. The notched shoulders are useful for keeping straps or delicate pieces from slipping off. One thing to keep in mind is that the wider design takes up more closet space, especially when storing bulkier garments. Once arranged properly, though, the support and organization improvement are very noticeable. Overall, these hangers are a reliable and practical choice for keeping suits, jackets, and structured clothing in better shape.

First, you have to assemble these, not a big deal but it's 10min you won't get back. Second they are over priced for some plastic hangars. Third, the bottom edges are sharp. EDIT: bought them again, and this set are not sharp on the edges. I also filed the sharp ones from the first order to smooth them. They do hold jackets and other tops well with good wide support in the shoulders, and this is why I bought them - to hang suits and blazers. I'm not sold on the square pants bar, seems like it will leave a crease, and I can't get my head around why they didn't make it round instead. I'd buy them again, only because the wooden alternatives I tried were all junk, arriving broken and with splinters or having sharp bits that snagged clothes.

I purchased these for my laundry room, so I can hang my wet tops and dresses to dry. They are perfect for that! They nicely shape the shoulders.

For the price paid on 15 Extra Wide Shoulder DIY Assembly Hangers, these seem to be good enough. (Judging from the beginning of my self-assembly project) You can easily pay the same price for maybe 2-4 much better quality hangers. I just want these for OCBD's, Tee shirts, light jackets. Maybe some light weight madras and seersucker blazers. So I need more volume than top quality for the time being. I wanted 60 hangers not 5. And I'm not paying 3K to revamp my existing collection of hangers with $20 hangers. WORTH KNOWING BEFORE PURCHASING: - the Metal Hanger Piece is highly unusual for the US market. It's stiff, not swivel oriented, although it will swivel of necessary. GARMENT WEIGHT - the metal hanger piece + adjacent plastic isn't strong enough to hang HEAVY coats and jackets.. ome recieewes have pics of leather jackets posted. these won't work unless it's a kids leather jacket. ALSO TOO HEAVY: Cold weather weight Wool / Tweed Blazers. Middle Weight Wool Coats for both sexes. Duffel Coats and Pea Coats (be they $700 Caliber or lighter $100 Old Navy ) Trench coats with heavy collars. (Making a comeback) You can probably do a LIGHT trench coat, or the women's cropped trench selling at Brooks Brothers. PERFECT WEIGHT: Hockey jerseys, MLS / NFL / MLB jerseys would work perfectly as the other review highlights. I'm planning to use these for OCBD's, tee shirts, light jackets. ASSEMBLY - During Assembly, Screw the Metal Hanger Piece in just snugly enough. But don't overdo it or else you'll damage or crack the plastic. Leave some room for an extra twist. - people are posting pictures of the metal meets plastic screw in area cracked. These hangers are a softer more malleable plastic than most US hangers. KEY CONSIDERATION Aka WHY 2 STARS - I'm using blue disposable vinyl exam gloves to assemble these, and there's a kind of "factory residue" appearing on the gloves. And that's after assembling just 2 hangers. It's not necessarily major. Just residue that seems like factory dust. I don't want that rubbing off on my clothes. I also donnwd a 2nd, fresh pair of gloves and wiped my hands on Just the plastic. SO IT'S DEFINITELY THE PLASTIC. Immediately , IT'S A PAUSE ON PLANS to hang 80 shirtts within the next few days. That being said, I wouldn't instantly hang white, light colored, or expensive items on these without a cleaning remedy to the factory dust issue. And IDK if I would use pre moistened cleaning wipes, because that might also damage the fabric when you go to hang garments. I'm searching for those thin-foam hanger covers, same material and texture to plate protectors when packing and shipping China. Not having much luck for extra wide shoulders. POTENTIAL REMEDY: I'm experimenting with running the nassembled plastic pieces though a quick wash cycle on my dishwasher. (Heating features turned off ) As wacky as all this may sound, I waited too long to open the Amazon boxes / I'm past the return window. And I still don't see much out there priced as well as these. With some extra time + work, I'm hoping these will end up working out while saving some money. I'll update after I realize results of the dishwasher scheme.

I was not super thrilled with this purchase. Originally purchased to transition some suits to and was concerned about using them. The clamp to keep slacks in place is so tight it created a crease in the pants and they had some sort of odd smell when I unpackaged them

The quality is medium, plastic, and the product looks not exactly like the pictures here.

It meets all my expectations.

These hangers are really perfect for my cardigans and coats as they do not slip off the hanger and the extra width of the hangers ensures that there are no marks left on thin coats or cardigans by the hangers.
