Works Great
This is just a combo USB hub with an Ethernet bridge - simple enough, but essential for a non-W Raspberry Pi Zero, as those otherwise have no network connectivity and only one free micro USB port. Easy, transparent, no issues with drivers or any other complications, and it's a great value. Sure, you should probably buy a Zero W, eliminating the need for Ethernet, but you'll still want those USBs. BTW, I'm using this just for development; the deployed project doesn't require USB or network access.

Good for Pi Zero 2
I made a Pi Zero 2 music streamer and being able to easily hook it up to ethernet is awesome. Also it makes it so you don't need any adapter to install a USB device such an a DAC.

It works and easy to use
Pi ZERO W (headless Raspbian) has Wifi and wanted to used wired ethernet and more USB connectors were a plusPlugged it in, it worked Just that simpleNow have a low powered Network Accessible Server (NAS) using SAMBA and a USB 128GB flash driveYES its not the fastest for backups, but it works great. Full backups takes several hours, start it and go watch a movie or something. FULL backups to a USB plugged directly in my PC also takes hours.

Not enough current for RTLSDR
I wanted to love this but i bought it to use with an RTLSDR, and it will not power it. When you plug the RTLSDR in the pi reboots, and it still doesn't recognize it. Otherwise it appears to work fine.

Works right of the box
Worked right out of the box. Ethernet and USB ports work as expected. I didn't use the included standoffs as the 40 pin header and micro USB to micro USB adapter hold the whole thing firmly to the Pi. Plenty of clearance for a small heat sink on the Pi. The indicator lights are a nice bonus. There are two cons:1) The Pi runs 1c to 2c warmer.2) The Pi will probably draw more current. I haven't checked to see how much more.Neither of these cons are an issue for me.

Caused massive packet loss. Rpi Zero W & Zero 2 W
Setup: Raspberry pi Zero W running pihole and unbound.I purchased this hat in hopes of slightly improving network speeds to my pi over just using WiFi. I work from home and am on conference calls and meetings most of the day. For the week I had it installed, I had constant call drops and disconnected meetings. The only thing on my network that changed was adding this HAT. I removed the HAT and everything went back to normal. SUPER disappointed. Really wanted this to work and I am also past the return date.Update: I purchased a pi Zero 2 W and it doesn't work with that one either. Same results. Constant packet loss. In meetings calls and video drop constantly.

No Instructions
Looks like a good product but I spent at least 30 minutes trying to figure it out. This is my first time assembling a raspberry pi and there are no instructions on amazon, in the packaging, on the website, or youtube. Also, it did not come with the pins to attach to the board. Fortunately I already had it from another kit.

The single most useful hat for your raspberry pi zero!
You should buy one of these with your raspberry pi zero as it just plugs into the boards existing micro usb port, no configuration necessary! Now you can plug in mouse, keyboard, sd card reader, and plug it in directly via ethernet cable so it is automatically online when it boots up, no need to configure wifi. Without this hat you need a bunch of adapters or a separate external dongle.
