Let's be clear: the audio quality is only going to be as good as the FM radio in your car. This isn't DAB, and doesn't pretend to be. But despite this, I was amazed at how cheap this item is given how well made it is, how easy it is to use, and how reliable it has been. My van arrived without a DAB radio and I needed to do a business road trip immediately. The item arrived c/o Amazon Prime Next Day Delivery and I was off on the road immediately paired with my Google Pixel 6a running Waze sat nav. I was able to play Spotify and use my FM radio for hands free calling. It may be a little niche, but if you've got a good smartphone, only have an FM car radio, and don't want to fork out loads for DAB, then this is the PERFECT solution.

This is a fantastic bit of kit. We used to use the alexa in car gadgets, but switched up to this and its so easy to use and the sound quality if amazing. Definitely worth a buy, so much so, that I have bought another one for myself. GO AND GET ONE. EASY TO SET UP PLUG IN SELECT A FM STATION on the FM transmitter- We use 88.8. Pair your phone via Blue Tooth and turn your radio in to 88.8. BEAUTIFUL sound in your car.

This is really easy to set up. Just pop it in the charger, tune your stereo to the same frequency that comes up on the device, connect your phone to it via Bluetooth and you're good to go. Sound quality isn't bad for the price. Sometimes there is a crackle. I can get past this, sometimes it's not there at all, sometimes it's very obvious. The sound isn't tinny at all. I don't find it any good for making calls really. Due to the faint crackle, people who you call can hear this on their end. It has a charging usb port within it. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. It's an ideal cheaper substitute to buying a whole new Bluetooth stereo if you want to play music.

I only got this as a backup USB power supply for the car. Given the negligible price difference I went for this as it has a high power and standard USB port and all the music extras too. I picked the unused 87.5 FM frequency, which should suit most people unless, annoyingly, you have a pirate radio station sitting on that frequency. I am pleasantly surprised with the sound quality as its in a different league to the FM transmitters I tried years ago. A standard length memory stick works well but in my car comes uncomfortably close to fifth gear so I would need a stubby memory stick. Relaying smartphone audio via bluetooth also works well and will probably be best all round. Tested a 1GB microSD card by dumping a several hours of MP3 tracks onto it and that works well too but is less navigable than say using an audio library on your phone. I think I will try a 32GB MicroSD for my next long road trip as that should hold nearly all my music library as MP3 tracks.

Bought this product to aid my old car and make it a little more modern. It's very useful, connects very quickly and sound quality is okay. But my main issue is, it's not shielded, so I get a lot of interference on radio if I don't want to listen to my music. To aid this I have to unplug it. Not the end of the world, justa. Slight annoyance.

Turned car radio to FM, put it in cigarette lighter, suggested frequency popped up on led. Found manual tune option on car radio and saved the frequency as a preset. My car is a knackered 2013 Skoda btw, nothing fancy. Voice came through speakers saying connect with Bluetooth - hit search for new Bluetooth devices on my phone, done. My suggestion ( unless it's my old ears) is that if you can adjust the treble on your car stereo turn it right down or next to nothing, then it's spot on, great sound. No background hiss as others have reported or reactions to engine speed ( might be older cars with poorer electrical insulation?). Well chuffed as Aux in socket was broken and would have SO much more money to fix. Oh and I took first phonecall yesterday, again, all clear. Hope this helps.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I tell you what, this gadget is awesome!!!! The sound quality is amazing!!! With some people's negative reviews on here, dont listen and just follow the instructions provided on this page ^^ in the item description. I'd suggest not tuning it to a frequency above 99.9 as it won't play as well. I first tuned it to 100.75 but due to the transmitter not including a double point number (.75) it loses signal easily. So I tuned it to 97.8 and it works beautifully. I like my music LOUD, with a nice deep basssss and I was dubious of the sound quality but I'm telling you, you wouldn't be able to tell it was transmitting through radio frequency. There's no delay, no white noise, no interference from anything outside the car, its perfect. I can run my phone and my sat nav off it as well and it charges both at the same time. All in all this little gem is BANGIN!!!! I even like the funny way it says "paired" when connected to my Bluetooth. I will refrain from giving my interpretation of the way its said to avoid offence. You'll get it when you hear it 😉 Highly recommend, well worth the price, extremely fast delivery if you got Prime.

Disappointing is the best way to describe this product. It does what it says "on the tin" - but... There are two problems with the Clydek FM Transmitter that I purchased. The first is that it generates white noise across the whole FM spectrum, regardless of the frequency it is tuned to. This results in a loud hiss on every other channel as long as it is switched on. The Clydek has to be turned off (pulled out) in order to use the FM radio for (e.g.) BBC Radio 4 - which is a big problem if you also need to use the USB outlets. In order to continue using my USB powered Satnav while listening to a radio station, I have to replace the Clydek with a standard USB adapter - which I can't do whilst driving. The second problem is that it picks up interference from the car engine. This sounds like the traditional atmospherics that you would expect from AM rather than FM. These get worse as you pick up speed making it all but unusable on the motorway. The car radio does not suffer from this problem on FM or AM. It is specific to the Clydek and my guess is that interference from the car's alternator is getting through to an intermediate frequency stage within the Clydek. The weaknesses in this product seem to be all about poor screening. The transmission mask is not good enough - hence the hiss - and it seems to be too vulnerable to the noisy RF environment you get in a car. Based on my experience with the item supplied, I cannot recommend this product.

Der Transmitter funktioniert super und ist schön klein, so das er nicht beim schalten stört. Kleiner Tipp: Wenn es rauscht mit dem Kanal experimentieren. Ich musste nur etwas runter gehen, so im 107,XX Bereich und konnte das Rauschen sehr gut raus bekommen. Handhabung ist auch easy. Die Installationsanleitung ist nicht auf Deutsch, braucht man aber nicht wirklich. Nach 2 Minuten war meine Musik übers Radio zu hören. Schickes Teil

Ho comprato questo trasmettitore per un amico che ne è rimasto contentissimo. Il prodotto effettivamente funziona davvero benissimo anche con la sua vecchia autoradio. Il sistema infatti permette il collegamento tramite Bluetooth e la riproduzione di musica sulla propria automobile con il proprio impianto (anche se vecchio). Le due porte USB sono comodissime, una ricarica il telefono più velocemente e l’altra permette, oltre a ricaricare il telefono, di riprodurre musica tramite chiavetta. La connessione Bluetooth è solida, 5.0 e c’è anche un lettore di schede SD. Utilizzando questo dispositivo mentre si viaggia si può viaggiare senza usare il telefono. Il pulsante permette anche di fare chiamate rapide. Molto comodo, testato insieme al mio amico in un piacevole viaggio in macchina.

Der Fm Transmitter ist die perfekte Ergänzung für ein altes Auto, im meinem Fall ein Opel Corsa B. Nachdem ich den Transmitter eingesteckt habe und auf meinem Auto Radio die Frequenz umgestellt habe, funktionierte dieser einwandfrei. Die Tonqualität und Bluetooth Verbindung ist Top! Desweiteren ist der USB A Port schnellste Fähigkeit und lädt mein Handy mit einer schnellen Geschwindigkeit auf.
