I took my cars battery into my local auto parts store. They tested it told me it was dead and wouldn't not charge and I would need a new one. I saw that this could repair batteries so I bought it and put it on my battery for 24 hours and my car fired right up and it's been consistently working for 3 months now. Auto part store wanted over $200 for a new battery. So glad I bought this.

Charger worked well, just as advertised.

The product is rated at 1000mA, or 1 amp.It must be marketing that did this type of advertising.The charger worked fine, although the charge rate is somewhat slow.For faster charging, purchase a larger charger.

Assuming it works, I like it... I just haven't hooked it up yet. It looks very sturdy, though.

Just what I needed

Junk. Purchased this product in October to keep the charge on a battery in a car that is put in storage for the winter. Initially when it was plugged it in, the indicator lights came on to indicate the unit was working correctly and was trickle charging the battery. But now six months later when I tried to start the car, the battery is totally dead. The charger is also dead, no output at all. Now I get to see if the battery will accept a charge from a completely dead state, and than get to reprogram all of the car's electronic settings.
