VIJAY Front Bumper Fits 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ with Winch Plate and Lights

I have to say that this bumper is made very well! The fit was perfect and can be done by yourself in less than 2 hrs with wiring taking a little longer but I chose to pre wire all that I could before the bumper install including the extra fog lights on top which will make installation much easier because of the lack of room once installed. The only modifications were changing the top bolts that secure the bumper. You can use the two that come with the bumper but I had to buy two more because the factory hex bolts left no room to tighten in the bumper as I could not get any socket on them. The bottom factory bolts work fine. Also the lights on top of the bar had no place to run the wires so I had to drill two small holes at the base where the bar meets the bumper to run the wires through and sealed them which worked great! Overall it is a very good buy and with everything that comes with it including the 4 built in fog lights which are really bright, tag holder which I didn’t use at this time and 2 d-ring shackles with rubber covers you can’t go wrong for the price. I would recommend to anyone.

Getting the old bumper off was the hardest part of this job. However I got it all done in less than 3 hours. I haven't finished wiring up the lights or the winch. I'm in the process of mounting the original Jeep fog lights to this bumper as well. I'm not sure how bright the LED lights that come with the bumper are yet. I'll be doing some testing on that this weekend. The Badland synthetic cable winch from Harbor Freight was an easy install as well. Over-all I'm very happy with the look and fit of this product.

Easy to install and extremely tough.I have honestly abused this bumper past what anyone would say is acceptable.And it is still looking good and holding up. I can't wait to purchase the rear bumper next

For the price I can’t complain! Only complaint is the front light pods are a bit weak. However the side lights are super bright! Had this for about 6 months and small rust spots on exposed welds have started, but easily corrected with a rattle can.

One light was falling off when I opened the box. As it turned out all the screws holding the lights were loose. Bolt holes did not line up on my 89 jeep wrangler. Had to Sawzall the two tabs that slide between the leefsping brackets in order for it to slide in place. Once in place none of the pre drilled holes lined up with my factory holes. If it wasn't for the fact that I had cut the tabs I probably would have shipped it back. Between drilling holes and cutting the brackets it took 2 of us 5 hours to make it work. Because of its design we had to use a Dremel with a metal cutting blade to cut new bolt hole locations in it. Good thing it comes with large backing plate style washers to cover up all our cuts and add strength to the mounting bolts location. Now that it is mounted it looks good. It is a light gauge steel so don't try to push anything with it as it will probably bend. As a matter of fact I'm afraid the first time i use it that it may warp or bend in one spot or another even though it has a couple braces in the winch location. I have not wired up the lights yet so I cant say how bright they are.

For the money, this is the best option money can buy to setup for a winch and increase departure angle!! Of course, it's not on a Jeep. It's welded to a Subaru Baja. 😎Few months into using the winch and pushing stuff out of the way, and it's held up great thus far!!

looked nice out of package. Stuck out pretty far and was a little concerned about approach angles. Went wheeling and first time I bumped it off the ground it bent horribly. Do not buy spend the 100 more on a quality USA made product

I was very excited to get this product and get it installed. I love the look of the bumper and the price. Once I received the item, I immediately got to work putting it on. I like to think that I am pretty mechanical when it comes to installing these sort of things, but the holes would not line up with the frame that they are supposed to bolt to. Long story short I had to modify the holes in order to get the bumper to fit and the 1 hour install time that I saw on the page ended up being 3. Love the look, hate the lack of directions and the fact that things didn’t line up. Pretty dissappointed.
