Detailed Review of Killabee Gaming Chair
I just received and setup the char last night, so these are my initial impressions. There are many mixed reviews, which made it difficult for me to decide on this chair, however, hopefully this is helpful for others when they are considering this gaming chair. The chair assembled quite easily. Taking my time, it took me 30 minutes from opening the box, till the chair was ready to go. While the instructions includes pictures, the language isnt going to help you at all. Good thing its easy enough to assemble. Just use the pictures if in doubt.Something I immediately noticed about the chair was the material. In the picture, it looks kind of like shiny plastic. Thats NOT what it looks like when I pulled it from the box. The red color is darker than what the image depicts (which is a good thing) and it looks and feels like leather. Its textured like leather, not smooth like how it looks in the image. Mine did not have any odor to it like others have mentioned. The material has a great feel to it, and seems as though it will last if not abused.I am 6'1" and 270lbs. I was concerned about the chair being big enough, however this chair fits me very well, and is quite roomy for me. I do have to add that the lumbar support pillow is really thick (like 7 inches from back to front) and it doesnt compress much, which makes the chair kind of difficult to sit in with it installed. Once I removed it, I was able to sit all the way back, putting your butt and back exactly where you need to be to make this chair comfortable. I might need to break in that pillow and squash it down, but for now, I am not using it. With the lumbar pillow, my back does not touch the back part of the chair at all, however, with the lumbar support removed, the entire back of the chair cradles you nicely.I have no complaints about the wheels. My wheels are totally fine, and roll exactly as anticipated on an office chair mat. No worries there.I have no complaints about the arm rests. Mine are terrific. The lever allows you to adjust them up and down, and it works perfectly. There is a positive and reliable release and engagement, and they stay once they click into place. The arm rests themselves do twist, and move forward and backward. These adjustments are quite solid, and they stay where I place them, unless I deliberately move them, so no worries there at all. I can see that one arm rest has an ever so slightly different angle than the other, but it so slight, you cannot tell when you sit in the chair. I am sure I can adjust it a little by loosening the screws and re-positioning it.The head pillow works just fine. It would be nice to have an adjustment on the elastic that holds it in place, because the pillow seems to only ride at the lowest position, however, that's not a problem for me at all. I can probably unclick the attachment, tie the elastic, then reattach the connection and it would stay up higher if I wanted it to.The cushion in the seat is very functional and comfortable. Sure, its not high end memory foam or anything, however, the cushion is on the firm side, but does have some give. I expect it to break in a little over time, but no complaints here either. The wings on the side of the seat fit me perfectly, which I was initially concerned about before I ordered it. They provide the slightest amount of holding you center in the chair, and I really do not sit on them, they just barely brush the edges of my thighs, which is perfect. The height of the backrest is excellent. I am a taller guy, and the top of the backrest is just slightly higher than the top of my head. The "wings" at the top of the chair wrap around my shoulders slightly, so thats perfect. The height adjustment on the chair works just fine. Due to the height of my computer desk, I leave the chair all the way down on the height adjustment, and that is the perfect height for my setup. I do not anticipate the need to elevate the height of the chair with my setup, so I am not worried about the height adjustment, or the chair lift mechanism loosing any compression over time. The chair rocking adjustment lever works as advertised. When locked, the chair will not rock back, and when unlocked, the chair rocks back as expected. This function works just fine. One thing I have noticed is that you really have to loosen the rocking adjustment to get the chair to actually rock back, but there is plenty of adjustment available, so that works as expected. I would say that you really have to sit as far back as possible in the chair to get the perfect balance to rock the chair back in the sweet spot, but if you are using the lumbar pillow, that might make it difficult to rock back easily, since your weight will be way more forward in the seat, if that makes sense. The backrest adjustment level is way better than I anticipated. It gives you a very small incremental level of adjustment, which I am very pleased about. The spring lever has a very positive feel, and there is no way you are going to accidentally trigger it. This feature of the chair is excellent. For playing games at a desk, I was able to very comfortably set it all the way upright, and was also able to lean it back as far as I was comfortable to play games (I like to chill and be laid back). However, do not think you are just going to lay the back all the way down and be OK. Just because the chair can do it, doesn't mean that the base has a wide enough circumference to manage throwing your weight all the way back. You will have to shift your weight forward if you are going to try that. The chair will just tip back if you throw the lever and lay back all the way without adjusting your weight over the base. However, I would imagine that you would need to do this with all of these gaming chairs that recline back all the way.I did not install the leg rest feature, at least not yet. Personally, I do not like the look of it, and I dont ever anticipate putting my feet up under my computer chair. I might mess with it later, but for now, I am going without it.Overall, this is a really sweet chair so far. I went with this model because it was advertised as "big and tall" and I did not want to end up with a chair that I would have to barely squeeze into. This one is roomy for me, and totally comfortable so far. Its a huge upgrade from the 18 year old basic office chair I was using, lol.I hope this review was descriptive enough for you to make an informed decision regarding this gaming chair. I will update it if anything changes over time.Oh, the name of this chair is kinda funny. You have to say it gangsta style like "KillahBee" or else it sounds lame, lol.

Great support, good chair
I ordered this chair Feb 15, 2018. Of course the price was attractive compared to some of the higher end chairs...It arrived in a big box, mostly undamaged. I opened it up and checked all the contents. All fasteners and pieces were there. However I did notice the base was kind of on the thin side. The chair went together easy. I tossed the lumbar pillow but kept the neck pillow. It is comfy enough that I'll just lean back and close my eyes sometimes. I'm a broad 300lb man so with the lumbar pillow, the sides would catch my ribs before my back touched. Other than that, I fit in it just fine. The base eventually broke from too much stress on one leg (leaning forward a lot) and I just replaced it with the base of another computer chair I had. So if I had to recommend a modification, it would be to get a thicker or metal chair base.I also ordered the roller skating wheels to replace the stock smaller wheels. The skating wheels make this thing glide very easily. If you find the stock wheels getting stuck, I recommend the roller blade wheels.Come to November, 2018. The assembly on the recliner side had somehow bent. Maybe I was leaning back too much. Maybe my fastening position was slightly off. The metal arm connecting the bottom and back of the chair had bent most likely from shear and the alignment being slightly off.I contacted LC home and asked if they had parts available for this chair. Within a day they got back to me, asked for a picture of the problem, and shipped a replacement part out right away. I was very satisfied with their communication and handling this. The chair is great. You can make some cheap and easy quality of life improvements if you need to but it is solid.

The chair is fine, the seller on the Other hand.
One of the handles were broken. Had to take it apart and gorilla glue it together. Unfortunately since the piece had a spring under it (it's for the height adjuster for the armrest) I had to take out the spring as it would break the piece from the pressure but the height adjuster works fine without it so I'm not making a big deal out of it.One would assume that it may have broke during shipping alone but when I took it apart it looks as though it was tampered with as there were some extra bolts and plastic pieces that looks like it was there to prevent further damage. I guess it wasn't enough and finally broke during shipping. I took apart the other armrest and didn't find those extra pieces there.Other than that, the chair works fine, I'm 6' 4" and is quite comfortable. I was afraid laying down with the chair inclined might tip over but it works great. The footrest feels flimsy so I may just occasionally use it. it looks good so I'm not really bothered enough to return the chair and get a new one. Other folks who may be bothered by potential broken parts should find another seller for this kind of chair. The two stars are for the seller for poor handling it could have broken during shipping but the Jerry rigged parts I found on the broken armrest says otherwise. If I was rating just the chair I'd give it a four.

This chair is comfortable for big and tall people
This chair is comfortable for big and tall people, and it feels sturdy and I fully believe it would support 400lbs. That said, get the model without the footrest. Unless your legs weigh next to nothing, the chair will tilt you forward. I had my girlfriend who is 130lbs sit in it, and her legs resting on the leg rest caused the chair to tilt. The lumbar support pillow is a little too big and I just tossed it, I keep the neck pillow though. If you're above 6' it'll probably sit too low, but you can use the straps and put the pillow around the top of the chair and make it an acceptable height. The tilt backward of the chair is nice. The arms are 8/10 sturdy I would say. A little wobble but nothing annoying and expected for any kind of adjustable arms. One of my screws was the wrong size when putting it together.Long story short, I like it. I'd order it again, probably without the footrest.
