We got this bed for the orthopedic mattress and water resistant liner. We got what we wanted and a nice dog bed as well. The sherpa lining is really soft and even though it is a light color, it doesn't get dingy as quickly as one would imagine. It is really easy to unzip and remove all the bedding to machine wash the bed cover itself. (The bolsters are actually encased in the same liner as the mattress!). The blue denim color is pleasing to the eye and the dimensions listed are all correct.The first bed we received was the right size mattress with the smaller size bed....that wasn't going to work, so I contacted Petsure via Amazon. They were great. They were willing to refund my money right away, but when I explained that I still wanted the bed just in the right size, they readily agreed. No haggling. In fact, they let us keep the first (wrong size) bed and sent a new one out within a day or so and they didn't require us to pack up the old bed and send it back. With a little imagination, we were able to resize a cushion that we had to fit the smaller bed, which we donated to a dog trainer who works with hard to place shelter dogs.There was no issue with smells or anything with our bed and our dog didn't need any coaxing to try it out. She loves it.It comes shipped in small box because cover and padding are separately vacuum sealed so it takes a few minutes for everything to expand to its normal size.A nice side benefit is that the sherpa/fleece bedding is slightly permeable so dirt will actually fall through the bed onto the lined mattress pad. I think this is great as I know it's not getting ground into the light colored bed and my dog is not rolling in it (she does enough rolling in the dirt outside!).

When the bed arrived, I had a few questions. I reached out to the company and they were incredibly responsive. It was even on a weekend and they replied within hours. They fixed my issue quickly.The bed is well made and the foam padding is very comfortable (I sat on it to check). I didn't notice any strong odors which is a plus when buying bedding. I got the gray which is a nice deep color. The cover is very soft. I can't speak for how well it holds up but right now I am very pleased.

When the bed arrived in a relatively small box, I was concerned. Upon opening, the mattress pad was rolled tightly and wrapped in plastic. The cover and bolster were also wrapped tightly separately. After opening each piece, the pad was a bit misshapen and had a considerable crease in the middle from folding, but the material quickly bounced back into shape, and there was no odor (as some memory foam pads do).The bolster was already inside the cover, and the bottom unzipped on 3 sides so the pad easily slipped in and zipped up again. The bolster zipper also unzips on 3 sides so it’s also very easy to remove it for cleaning.The cover material is soft and overall the shape of the bed is spacious yet compact enough for our small living space.We’ve had MANY different beds over the years, and this is, by far, the best we’ve bought. Just the ease of removing and putting back the cover for cleaning is awesome enough, but the materials are great quality (the insides aren’t just ripped up foam inside cheap plastic mesh like most “memory foam” beds), and it’s very minimalist yet stylish.Would highly recommend to anyone, especially for the price!

The good:-First of all, I like the customer service. Ordered 2 of these beds and the foam in one of them was wonky and would expand all the way. They sent me a whole new bed without the hassle of returning the defective one.-it's a nice bed. The dogs like them. They like to rest their head on the bolster and I like that they a solid, muted color instead of being loud pattern. Makes them easy to blend in with almost any decor. The foam is nice.What could be better--I love that I can remove the cover to throw it in the wash, HOWEVER, the bolster is not removable and I knew that going in, but I don't ever feel like it gets as clean as it could (I have a front load washer) because the bolster makes it so bulky inside the machine. And I always wash it on its own to maximize space in the washer. If they could add a zipper to the bolster area so we could remove that before washing I'd give it 5 stars.- the "fleece" looks nice to start but quickly becomes pilled or matted and doesn't end up looking as nice. I notice a lot of dog beds utilize this fabric and I don't love that. Also, shows dirt/hair very easily, so would love different options for fleece color and/or another fabric option there.

UPDATE: We’ve had this bed for 2 1/2 years, and it’s still the best dog bed of all time. It looks new, the foam hasn’t broke down at all, and I’m about to order another one to replace my dog’s living room bed.Our dog had knee surgery, and we bought this bed for her to recuperate on. It was very easy to assemble, and it’s super comfortable. Last night she vomited twice, so today I got to appreciate how easy the bed is to clean. I love that the boosters are removable, and the sleeve that covers the memory foam kept the foam from becoming stained and stinky. I washed the sleeve and the bed cover on normal wash and dried them on low heat, and they both came out good as new. I love this dog bed and would rate it a 10 if I could.
