Onyx General Purpose Boating Vest

Worked perfect for our family vacation! Got two for a boy and girl ages 9&8

This jacket has open sides so it have a universal fit for adults. My husband is a large and I am a 3X and it fits both of us perfectly due to the adjustable straps. I have plenty of room to spare when I let mine out all the way. This would work for any adult size really. I was scared it would be tight due to my size but it fits comfortably.

This is a great PFD very stylish great fit and it matches our new kayak.BUY IT!

Its a decent quality for the vest but runs small. I bought it for my 90 pound 12 year old as he is right at the limit for youth size so went with this one hoping it would be smaller. It is smaller but its almost too small...., the straps all the way loose and it looks like it's choking him. This would never fit an adult. I think it will work for this year but will have to look around again next year for something bigger.

I order the Oversized and Universal life vests; both arrived within 48 hours; both are way too small. I returned the Universal vest. The website description says the life vest is Universal Adult; it won't even fit my teenaged child who is 5'9", 120#. I am 6'3", 205#, ordered the oversized vest, supposed to fit up to 60" chest (I'm 48" chest), there's no way that fits me. The Oversized version fits my child fine. Color is bright red, product arrive with no defects.

As others mentioned this life vest is too small. It fits perfectly on my 9 years old son, about 80 pounds. So the straps are able to adjust to bigger person but the vest or pads are too short and it makes like I am wearing a kid vest. I’m 5’10” and 165 pounds and the vest only covers just over half of my upper body. To look good in it, I strongly suggest this vest for a small person and less than 120 pounds. The quality is fair for the price. I bought 4 of them and now they are gonna be spare life vests. I should go to the store and shop for life vest now.

This life vest is way too small. It says it is for an adult up to 52 in chest. I am a male with a 40 in chest and I'm barely able to get it on.I asked for return request based on erroneous and misleading description. I submitted several return requests and got nothing. I called Amazon twice to finally get a return label,,, AND, shipping is NOT included!! Horrible company to do business with.

This would save my life in an emergency if I would keep it on. I ordered a nice large size to be flexible about who wore it but it won't be me. I am a short woman with a large belly and d cup chest. It fit around fine but it rides high and choked me just in trying it on! There is no way I would get in the water while being choked by this thing and expect to have any fun. It is strictly emergency only material!

Very small! It doesn’t fit me at all and I’m an average 5.8’ woman, 180lbs with size D breasts. Won’t even come close to doing up, this would fit a slim flat chested woman only, or a thin man, perhaps even a good size for teenagers. It arrived next day and is well made, looks just like the photo (American flag version) so happy with that. Will be used as an extra on our boat

I like these vests. These Vestas work well. I am 5'5" 160lb and he is 6'3" 190 lb and these vests fits us both. The vests are bright red and compact. We can go on a canoe trip with these vests as well as kayaking. I am very happy with this purchase.

For the price the quality is OK. I bought the youth version since my son has outgrown all of our infant life jackets but is too small for adult. He's at the bottom of the suggested weight range but it fits him really tight so I don't think we'll be getting a lot of use out of it. It will do in a pinch but I can't see him being happy if he needs to wear it for very long, and if he's wearing it over clothes it might not fit.

This is as expected a standard life jacket with extra long straps.For a big guy, near impossible to find anything in stores.Works well as expected.

Works great. It works as a life preserver should and my toddler can float on his back without worrying about rolling over to the front as it should be.
