Coffee is great. Packaging a little odd.
If you haven't tasted the Colombia Via yet, you're in for a treat. Quick, convenient, very tasty coffee with good body. Light years ahead of what instant coffee used to be. I keep these packets in my desk at work because the office coffee is dishwater and I don't want to spend money on decent coffee to be wasted on my 25 coworkers. 8oz of hot water and a Via packet, and I get my tasty pick-me-up without having to provide for the whole office. The only issue with this particular product is the odd packaging, which must be intended for a retail display. There is an outer plastic blister package, which contains a tray of cardboard envelopes. Each envelope contains three coffee packets. I discard the packaging and keep the packets at my desk.Again, the product is great and I will continue to buy it in other packaging when I can find it.

Good coffee, packaging nightmare
I like this little ready-brew packets, so I thought I'd put in a good supply. What I got was packaging gone wild:-A few grams of instant coffee, in an individual plastic sleeve, already about 50:50 product vs. packaging.-Three sleeves are put into a cardboard envelope, adding another hunk of stuff.-A dozen of those sleeves come in a cardboard box; now we're at 10% product, 90% packaging.-Then that is welded into a huge plastic blister pack: the kind that takes industrial tools to break into. What a waste! 2.79 oz of coffee becomes a large 2lb package that came in a 24"x30" box.I thought Amazon has made a stand for sensible, sustainable packaging. This item is exactly the opposite.

Rip off
Do not order this quantity it is overpriced--pay to ship the 50 much better price. The coffee is excellent and I recommend the product but the free shipping is not worth the price. I ordered by mistake and they do not allow returns--awful

Fort Knox?
I have to agree with other reviewers who thought the packaging on this item was ridiculous...it's just so unnecessary to encase the coffee in thick plastic that way. Once you do break into "Fort Knox" the small coffee packets are very easy to open, and the coffee blends smoothly with hot water. I found the flavor of the coffee itself to be bitter, though so I won't be reordering this one.

Three Stars
Good flavor, stronger than most instant coffees.

Great product and packaging
I absolutley love this coffee idea. I used to work in advertising, so the packaging is really a great idea. Great presentation. I love coffee, but, not too strong, so this allows me to put as much or little in the cup as I want and it makes me a perfect cup every time. Just the way I like it. You've gotta have a perfect cup of coffee, that is a must!

VIAable option for when you can't brew a pot of coffee.
Tastes like regular coffee - not instant. Very expensive product but it's very convenient to take camping or use when everyone else is drinking tea and you want coffee. If you can make regular coffee you should, but when you can't, VIA is an excellent option.

Old, Nearly Expired, Coffee
The coffee that I received was old. The expiration date is one month from when I received it. I checked the same thing at Starbucks and Costco, and there was a 1 to 2 year expiration time. It looks like they are dumping old coffee that they probably got at a discount from some where house.
