Q: What is the Distance between rings ?

Use to be 4 1/8 just bought a new one and they are now 3 1/8 so my old cards won't fit this.

Q: Is the distance between the rings the same as a standard two hole punch?

No , the standard american 2 hole punch is 2.75 inch center to center. This binder rings measures about 3.16" (8 centimeters). Therefore you must buy a 2hole punch that says 8 cm , they cost about twice as much as the 2.75 inch ones. i am going to only use a card or two per week , so just going to stick with my 30 year old one holer.
