Short version: This really is premium stuff. Definitely worth the money and then some; i.e. great value for a product that brings great satisfaction in the bedroom from all parties involved. Maintains slickness once enough is applied. Water-proof. Doesn't get sticky quickly. No odor. Will purchase again. Only downside is that I will be spending more money on lube to access the superior experience of silicone. Long version: Only previous lube used was Astroglide water-based lube which was okay except that it got sticky quickly if you failed to add water. I used that product for many years without too much trouble until I recently tried this. I noticed the following upon the first few uses: To get things really slippery I needed to apply at least twice as much as I used to apply with the Astroglide water-based lube. If you only apply a little droplet, the silicon lube feels a little sticky and insufficient. However, once I applied a sufficient amount (a small line of this lube), it stayed pretty much the same consistency for the next 20+ minutes and things got pretty wild with my girlfriend. =) Able to switch positions without any reapplication. After the story came to a conclusion, we weren't sure what to do since "it" was still sufficiently lubed. All and all it was A+ premium experience because it enhanced sexual experience without feeling like we were using gross gets-sticky-quick lube. Upon getting in the shower, the water really does wick off of any areas with the silicone applied. I see this as a plus because it can facilitate shower play. It was only when mild soap and hot water was vigorously applied did it come off. If you leave it on your skin for a few hours, I noticed it kind of dries and turns to these harmless white flakes but the substance is not entirely removed in this manner. I was able to comfortably continue my day without washing the lube off with soap/hot water. I.e. there was no irritation from delaying washing up. My girlfriend reported no irritation problems either. No parabens or other endocrine disrupters (that I know of) like other brands and types sometimes have. So many things in life are hard. Treat yourself to this one premium item and you'll be much happier for it. At least try it out. I can see some people maybe liking the sticky consistency of other lubes but this was an instant favorite for me and my girlfriend. Finally, this lube has no odor that I could detect. The Astroglide water-based lube, on the other hand, had a "play dough" type smell that would remain embedded in your hand for a few hours after "vigorous use." I haven't tried tasting the silicone lube but I don't think you're supposed to do that. I paid for this product in full through Amazon and have no ties to the manufacturing company and have not been coerced, persuaded, asked, or otherwise compensated for writing this review.

My wife and I had issues with AstroGlide getting tacky during use, drying out and causing a burning sensation afterwards. We originally were unaware of the parabens and glycerin present in many lubes. So we looked for other lubes to try which were natural and didn't contain the harmful ingredients. We are really glad we found Penchant. So far, using this lube we are very happy. Maintains lubrication for a long time, makes foreplay better, does not dry out even when a fan is on, but yet not so slick that the sensations go away. Absolutely no burning sensations and it even makes your skin feel better afterwards, almost like a moisturizing lotion. By the way, it works great for play time with the wifey in the shower and doesn't wash away like water based lubes. A very small amount goes a long way. We really have enjoyed using Penchant so far. If I had to list a negative, it is a very slight one, since it works so well in water, washing it off takes a little effort, but hey, wash it off each other and you may get in a little bonus action. If you buy it, you won't be disappointed. Important! Keep the bottle UPRIGHT when storing. Because I don't really like the reviews from people who do compensated, I will state that I do not get compensated for my reviews.

I LOVE this stuff. This is superior for many reasons. For the sake of saving you, the potential buyer, some time, I will list what are, in my mind, chief among them. First of all, buy this. I was a bit leary of the price for the amount you get, as I am sure you are. It is definitely worth every. damn. penny. At first my husband and I thought it was a bit on the thin side for silicone-based stuff, but it's not an issue. Just be careful. It comes out quick. He ended up using too much. So, be aware of that. As it turns out, the relatively low viscosity is a huge plus. It goes on and stays in place. It lasted considerably longer for the amount we used than I thought. A lot of lube we have used in the past definitely stays in place, but loses its efficacy after a few minutes. Not so with this. No taste or smell. I have pretty sensitive skin in that area, and this was truly pleasant to use. It's FAR less gummy than KY, and a lot of other silicone-based stuff we have tried. I thought it would be a pain to clean off without a shower, considering it's staying power, but not so at all. Wipes off pretty clean with just a wet towel, and it doesn't leave that thick, gummy residue that so often hangs around with silicone-based. Sometimes, it's late and you don't wanna shower right away, but wait until morning. What little residue that was left was minimal and actually didn't feel icky in the least. All that is left after just a towel and some warm water was, actually, pleasantly moisturizing. Will DEFINITELY buy again, despite the price. Truly the best all-purpose lubricant we have ever tried. Absolutely worth the price. No question.

I have a love / hate relationship with this lube. First off, I don’t use it for anything perverted. I use it to lubricate my, uh, tractor wheel. Yes, let's go with that. This lube is amazing. Absolutely slick and slippery. My wagon, oops, I mean tractor? is very smooth and it does not dry out like other lubes. It really is quite amazing. But why 4 stars? Well it doesn't have a pump so instead it's very easy to spill. I didn't close it and my previous bottle ended up spilling and staining my sheets. Since it's not water based but instead silicone it wouldn't wash out. I had to buy an industrial strength oil remover to get rid of it. But the whole bottle ended up on my sheets so that's $15 down the drain. I bought a second bottle and I was much more careful but one night of drinking and being distracted by the girl, I mean tractor, and it spilled again! 2/3's of it ended up in my sheets again. I was going to buy a third bottle and now I'm considering buying another brand with a pump to prevent throwing money away. So in summary the lube is great (for tractors and maybe sex), and without a doubt the best lube I've owned but the fact that it ends up on my sheets makes it almost worthless. If you want good lube get this. If you're drunk and careless reconsider it. If you're rather careful and own a good stain remover than maybe you'll be okay.

Water based product Not good - doesn’t last very long and is very sticky although easy to wash off. Silicone product recommended as it lasts longer but is a little bit more difficult to wash off.

I've been using this for years. They claim they only changed the bottle but it's obviously not the same product either. It feels just like another type they sell called Pleasure. The viscosity isn't the same. Please bring the original Premium back.
