This complete Introductory Dissection Lab Kit is a great way to introduce students to dissection! It has everything needed for dissecting a frog, earthworm, perch, and crayfish. It includes our 20-piece dissection tool set, large preserved frog, earthworm, perch, and crayfish specimens accompanied by dissection guides for each specimen, and four disposable dissection trays. All four specimens are separately packaged. This stand-alone lab kit can also be used with several homeschooling biology curricula such as: Apologia, Bob Jones, Alpha-Omega, and others… In their original sealed packaging the preserved specimen(s) will remain fully preserved and free of decay for 9-12 months from the date of purchase. For best results, once the original package is opened dissect the specimen(s) asap. If you must wait to dissect the specimen(s), you can store specimen(s) in a zip-lock bags. Freezing or refrigeration is not necessary and may damage the fragile tissues of the specimen(s).
