We wanted to get railing flower boxes, I ordered these because all the ones in the stores were cheaply made. These are a better grade and quality for flower boxes. They are easy to assemble, sturdy and durable. The thickness of the plastic is so much better than all the others I’ve seen. Love the lower adjustable balancer. These were built to last! We drilled small holes in the bottom to allow for some drainage. And the choice of a few colors is nice. Great product!

THESE ARE PERFECT !!! They have thought of everything. I purchased other hanging boxes for my fence but they hang over so far that they are almost sideways and the dirt falls out when I water them. With these the leveling arm on the bottom is EVERYTHING. Sits them upright and the flowers are happy. I love these and have already purchased more. They are very sturdy and so easy to put together. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

My husband and I have a large back deck with 3.5" railing. We have struggled with rigging our own flower planters to it for years. This product is AMAZING! Every detail was thought of including the hidden water tray at the bottom. My husband was about to drill holes in the bottom for drainage but we then realized that excess water actually flows out of the leveler handle, so no need to drill any holes! They take less than a minute to assemble, are very sturdy and with the leveler system you can achieve a uniform and professional appearance. I bought one to try to see if we would like it, and after receiving it and assembling it we loved it so much we purchased another 23 to complete our back deck. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a quick, sturdy, attractive rail planter.

LOVED the look of this planter. It was missing one of the support pieces when it arrived. Customer Service was immediately on it. Received a replacement part and realized the peg was also missing. I'd change this review to 5 stars once I receive the last piece. This should look fantastic filled with soil and flowers hanging off m gray fence

We bought the terra cotta planter a few years ago and love it. So much so, that we bought another one this year. After installing the second planter, it broke after two days. We called the company, and Phil responded immediately. After reviewing the problem, it was clear that we assembled the planter incorrectly, causing the tab that holds the bracket to snap in half. Phil immediately entered a free of charge replacement order to send us a new planter free of charge. Their product is wonderful, but their communication, support and customer service is even better. I recommend this product and this company highly. Buy with confidence!

I liked the idea of an adjustable planter box for a railing, however, there are several design flaws that cannot allow me to recommend this product. The adjustable arms are too short for wide railings. Our railing is about 3 1/4 inches wide and it should be fine. Any wider than this and the lever arms extend too far. The long lever arms along with the addition of the weight of soil and plants will create a torque that bends the arm causing it to lose its support. The middle extension is also not long enough for wider railings. If the extension is slide out so that the back end is no longer under the groove in the bottom of the planter, any moderate weigh will cause additional torque that the middle support will not be able to hold. Both about design flaws will result in the planter box falling from the railing. A third design flaw is that there are no drain holes. Planters need this to keep the roots from rotting. It can be solved by drilling in desired drain holes, but this should not be needed for a new product. Lastly, whomever mentioned there being too many stickers was absolutely correct. The stickers are of poor quality and cannot be easily removed. They cover the water drain holes and need to be cut away. They cover the side supports and need to be cleaned of the sticker glue. I could not remove all of the glue using multiple cleaners. The surface was still sticky and immediately started to collect dirt and pollen. Higher quality labels that could be easily pealed away would have been a simple remedy. I have the planter box set up with soil before putting in plants. I need to test whether is will stay for a few days before planting actual plants into this box. I really wanted to like this planter's box, but so far I am not impressed with the quality.

I’ll start with the good: these planters are a great size, easy to build and install, and fit very securely and nicely on our balcony rails. They’re good value for the price. Now for the bad: The way the instruction labels are attached to the drainage plate is very stupid and they are incredibly difficult and inconvenient to remove. We bought 8 of these and I had to sit for over an hour, maybe two, scrubbing with goo gone, steel wool, a regular sponge with hot water and soap, and my finger nails. I used half a bottle of goo gone, destroyed my sponge and finger nails, and ended up only removing enough of the labels to clear all the drainage holes. I see a ton of other reviews alone the same lines so I don’t know why the manufacturer hasn’t done anything about this yet. Bottom line: If you like these planters and it’s worth the low price to put in some effort to get the labels off, get them. Otherwise, save your time, sanity, and finger nails and buy something else.

Great for planter box on porch railing
