BEST Work Jeans EVER
I LOVE these jeans! I've been wearing Carhartt jeans for over 10 years, and when I want my jeans to last, and be able to beat the s*** out of them on a regular basis without worrying about whether or not they'll hold up, I only get these. The seams never fall apart like Levis do after a few years, it takes FOREVER for any holes to show up, like in the knees or wherever. The hems fray after a few years, but I do wear my jeans long because I like to have room to move around while I work. Still, This is only the 3rd time in that 10 year period I've bought new jeans. Two pair each time, and the only reason I'm getting new ones this time is because I'm in the Navy and I kept getting yelled at for the frayed hems as I was leaving my ship after work. I still kept the old jeans, I just can't wear them on base anymore. Good thing I separate in a month!Seriously though, I cannot say enough good things about these jeans. They fit loosely, plenty of room in the seat and thigh, so you won't feel like you're wearing a tighter cut like with some of the other brands' work dungarees. The hammer loop on the left leg holds up great, I usually had something hanging from there while I was working back home. It'll hold a lot of weight. There are a couple little pockets on the right leg that (if you smoke, I used to but I quit) perfectly fit a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. The main pockets are HUGE and can fit a lot of stuff, and the seat of the pants is roomy enough that you can actually put stuff in your back pockets too. Like I said:BESTWORKJEANSEVER

Classic B13 Quality – Get Them Before They’re Gone!
These are the real deal—the old B13 style with the durable, high-quality fabric that Carhartt used to make. Unlike the new B13 version, which feels thinner and lower quality, these still have that rugged, long-lasting build that holds up to demanding work. They fit just right, and the Darkstone color looks great. The only downside? They’re selling out fast since Carhartt doesn’t make them anymore. If you can find your size, grab them while you still can!

Roomy, Tough, Cheap; the Opposite of Levi's
Levi's are the worst. They sit down near your crotch, so they cut you in two every time you bend. There is no room in them to squat or bend over. The cotton is cheap and wears out fast. The pockets are small and useless. The stitching is weak.Carhartt jeans are superior in every way. The waistband is at your actual waist, so it doesn't interfere when you move, and because the pants are longer overall, they don't make you look like you have stubby legs. There is plenty of room to move around; jeans that stick to your skin are for teenage girls and Michael Jackson. There are lots of big, useful pockets, including a cell phone pocket. The seams are triple-stitched.They run a little big. I find the 34's loose, and I'm pretty sure my waist is more like 35".Get away from silly, overpriced hipster jeans and come home to Carhartt. This is what a man wears.

These were a perfect fit for my everyday needs; update
I am not a carpenter or workman who wears these jeans in a construction or workshop/factory setting. I am instead a retiree who works from home when I do work. I was looking for a pair of jeans with lots of pockets so I would not again lose my iPhone out of a pocket that is way too shallow for its own good. I row on a machine, and as a result, my legs have gotten bigger; I was looking for pants that did not fit like sausage casings. I also find it uncomfortable to sit on a wallet, and wanted some alternatives to a back pocket. I found all the features I wanted in these jeans. For the environment I need these jeans for, the fabric is heavy enough; if you are a construction worker your needs will likely differ. I bought a pair of the heavier-weight fabric version as well. The main pockets are nice and deep; no involuntary donations of change every time you sit down. The side pockets are large enough for the iPhone 5 sized phone. I can also put my wallet in the side/leg pocket so that I don't have to sit on it, which I find quite literally a pain in the butt. There is room in the thighs in case you don't have minuscule quads. If I had one wish, it would be that Carhartt make a line without the hammer loop. If I were still working in an office, these are perhaps a bit too informal, whereas without the hammer loop I wouldn't hesitate to wear to work. This was my second purchase of Carhartt; the first was a flannel-lined pair of black jeans. So far I have been very happy with both purchases. I particularly like all those extra pockets.Update: March 2022Since the original review, I've had a chance to really compare the two fabric weights. The 15-ounce fabric was great, and wears wonderfully. I bought additional versions of the 15-ounce fabric pant as my waist size decreased. I am not as fond of the 12-ounce version. Late in 2021, when trying to reorder the 15-ounce fabric, I learned that Carhartt had discontinued this model. It's a shame. I was hoping that they would bring it back, but it hasn't happened so far. As noted in the original review, I wish they would come out with a line using the original 15-ounce denim without hammer loops. It would also be great to make at least one of the pant leg pockets a bit larger so that it will actually fit newer cell phones. You can't fit even an iPhone X into the leg pockets. If anyone from Carhartt pays attention to these reviews, that is my 2¢ worth. I will add that I have started to explore alternatives to Carhartt, and am prepared to switch to a different brand.
