Smiffy's Pirate Pistol Costume Accessory,Silver,One Size

I bought this pistol for use in a Halloween display after reading the reviews. I thought it was a very good value for the price. It was longer and larger than I expected, which was good. The "wood" is more of a deep purple color, and there was a red "ring" at the front of the barrel. I painted over the red ring with acrylic paint to match the rest of the barrel. The pistol is plastic, but it was more realistic looking and fairly substantial compared to other toy/costume pistols I saw online. I was very pleased with it.

Got for my boys. They love it. Also used it for their Halloween costume!

This pistol is perfect to go with my pirate costume. The "wood" parts such as the handle are actually a very deep purple rather than brown. The details of the "metal" parts are very good. You can even "cock" and "fire" it, which is pretty cool. It's a good value for the price.

The addition of pistols to my pirate costume really made the Blackbeard look better

Pretty cheap and takes to sanding, priming, and painting very well! I made some modifications and I'm super happy with how I was able to make it look more realistic!

This was a really good quality replica. We ended up returning it because we wanted to use it in a holster and it didn't fit. Still, it was authentic looking and would be perfect for a pirate.

GSo as you can see this is a prop for pirate outfits. picture is misleading. There is some moving parts but that only bumps it up to a 5 dollars. If you were getting this for a kid then it is a good plaything... But for adults your going to need a metal chrome paint and a wood paint.
