As with all of Elmore's books in this leadership series, each chapter concludes with practical self-examination questions and exercises to put the communication principle into practice.

Simple, thought provoking, image driven, this book is ideal for anyone who speaks to groups on a regular basis. Habitudes is a great series to apply to your leadership skill set.

I gave this book 5 stars because it is the most practical analysis of how to develop effective communication habits that I've ever found. I've heard Dr. Elmore speak a number of times, and can assure you he has proven every one of these concepts. Outstanding reading, and a very creative approach.

Elmore's work is an accessible read. The work he proposes at the end of each chapter is helpful in forming habits for all who seek to communicate. These habits become tools in the art form of good communication.

Recommended to me by my niece & her husband, who are communicators. I'm a musician, writer & pastor, so this resonates with me on many levels. Concepts are good, basic, simple, and easily applied. Provides a good framework for anyone in leadership.

this is a definite addition to any library... it would work well with a 12 step program as well.... anyone looking put more vitue into life would like this
