Yaheetech 69" Large Bird Cage, Rolling Parrot Cage for Parakeets Cockatiels

As someone who has owned parrots for years, I can honestly say this cage exceeded my expectations. It’s roomy, sturdy, and gives smaller birds plenty of space to climb, play, and spread their wings. Assembly was straightforward, and the rolling stand makes it easy to move for cleaning. The large front door gives great access, and the pull-out tray makes cleanup much less of a chore. My birds settled into it quickly, and that’s usually the best sign that you’ve made a good purchase.

I am very happy with this Yaheetech cage. It is sturdy, well-designed, and provides a great space for my 2 cockatiels. I was able to put it together entirely by myself in about 3 hours without any issues. Unfortunately, the metal trays arrived slightly bent from shipping, but I was easily able to fix them myself. I reached out to the seller regarding the damage, and they immediately provided a partial refund for the inconvenience. Great communication from the seller and a high-quality product. Highly recommend for bird owners!

Cage arrived in 3 days as stated in checkout. Heavy duty shipping box arrived undamaged, as were the cage components inside. The cage parts were wrapped in foam paper and bubble wrap and were tightly secured together. All hardware included with a couple spare screws and a combo allen/philips head tool. I also needed pliers for the playtop and seed skirt, and a hammer to install the casters. Assembly took about an hour, with brief help from my girlfriend to hold 2 cage pieces while I secured them. Otherwise a solo assembly. No damage, no issues, and everything fit perfectly together. Cage material quality comparable to other so-called premium cage brands. I recommend not tightening all screws during assembly until towards the end....leave a little wiggle room. I don't believe the bar spacing is suitable for keets, but that's my opinion. Cage is great for cockatiels or other small parrot species. I also would not recommend for the large parrot species, again, personal opinion. Overall, a great, beautiful, and sturdy cage at a fraction of the cost of other comparable brands. I am completely satisfied with this cage, and if needed, wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. Time will be the real test, but I'm sure my cockatiel will be happy in it for years to come. Highly Recommend !!

I bought this cage as a sleeping cage for my sulfer crested cockatoo. He has a larger cage in my living room that he is housed in during the day and a cage in my bedroom which gets covered at night. Size wise this cage is adequate for what I purchased it for. It's a good size for medium size parrots. Amazons, African greys or maybe a conure. Anything smaller I think the perches are too large. Larger birds like a macaw or a moluccan cockatoo it wouldn't be large enough unless for just short term like sleeping. The cage came in the typical type box. I wouldn't say it was well packed which explains why it may have arrived damaged for some buyers. It all depends on how well it was handled during shipping. Mine came undamaged. It was relatively easy to assemble but don't count on using the instructions since all they do is give you pictures. Nothing really of value is offered in them. Mine came with all the parts and hardware - nothing missing. Everything except the left and right side panels are of a medium weight tubing and fine for the price. The left and right panels are fairly light weight. You could almost say flimsy. But once paired with the front, back and top I think the will work ok. Not sure I would want to leave my cockatoo alone during the day in it. He can be very destructive when he want to be. Not sure if the side panels of this cage would hold up. But for sleeping I think its ok. Shouldn't be a problem for smaller birds. The cage comes with a play top with 2 stainless bowls to go along with the 3 stainless bowls for the inside of the cage. These are fairly nice bowls but as others have mentioned they are really deep. Close to 4 or 5 inches or more. I didn't measure them but they are deeper than any other's I've bought in the past. A smaller bird might fall in and get lost. The only advantage I can see to them would be that if you only filled them up half way then it would be more difficult for your bird to knock food out. My cockatoo will throw food out from the top of the bowl until he find what he wants. Unfortunately a smaller bird might find it hard to impossible to reach the food or water if the bowl wasn't filled to the top. Overall I think it's a good value for the right bird and situation. I wouldn't use this as the primary residence of a large bird and it's not really adequate for small bird like a budgie or cockatiel. But for medium size birds it's a good value.

This is a beautiful cage and worth the money spent (although it was very reasonably priced when compared to others similar)! Very easy to put together and comes with a screwdriver. I bought it for my granddaughter who has a small parrot and I'm sure it feels like it is in bird paradise with all the spacious room it now has! It is heavy and good quality, yet easy to maneuver. It is quite large and has great features as described. The only thing to be cautious with, is that the seed catcher that hangs on the outside is very flexible metal and should not be used as a "handle" to pull or push the cage as it will bend. However, it does bend back easily if not bent too much. I learned this by experience! Would definitely recommend!

This is a very nice cage for a great price. Was pretty easy to put together by myself. Description says all tools needed are included which includes just a small hex key/phillips screwdriver combo. Be prepared to need a few more basic tools. You will need a small rubber mallet or hammer to get the wheels on all the way and a small wrench or socket to hold the nuts, otherwise they won’t be fully tightened. All parts of the cage were there and are a nice quality and I only had one piece that had a slightly bent piece that I needed a pair of pliers to straighten slightly. I wasn’t sure if I was going to use the seed catcher due to the extra space it requires but it actually isn’t too much. Looks like it will be easier to clean than the one I replaced. Also the lock in the description is different than the one that comes with it now but I like the new design better. I actually downsized a little with this cage because my Amazon didn’t use the majority of the larger cage I had. He usually takes awhile to get used to any changes but took to this cage almost right away and seems to really like it, I think he feels more secure maybe? Overall, very happy with my purchase!

After researching cages, prices, sizes, construction, etc. for over a year, I finally bought this cage and I absolutely love it!. Assembly: the pictures on the instructions were self explanatory. We assembled the main parts it in about an hour and put the finishing touches in about 30 more minutes. Build: This cage is super sturdy. Just two small complaints. 1. The lock on the door latch is missing a screw so I have to try to find a screw for it but it's strong enough with one for now. 2. One of the rings for the food bowls is a little bent out of shape which makes the food bowl impossible to take out without taking the whole ring out so I have to reshape it. But... since it has FIVE food bowls (three inside and two on the playground) I am not upset about it ALL ALL. Extras: I love the toy it came with. This cage is SUPER spacious. My son keeps joking around that he can go in there to play with our parrot. I allowed our parrot to play around in it a full day before putting him in there to sleep and he LOVED IT! He immediately loved the perches better than his own old ones. He loves the playground and the ladder! Recommendation: I would recommend that you buy a cover for night time unless you have a separate room for your bird because it is really a large cage and throwing a coverlet is not an option for this sized cage. I also recommend that you watch some of the videos in the reviews before the assembly so that it is easier to understand.

I checked out a lot of cages for my 'tiel, and most of them were insanely expensive for the size. This is a massive cage for a heck of a price. Comes with 5 steel dishes, there's 3 doors for access to dishes in the cage, and a play area with food and water spots on top. Large front door makes it easy to get birds in and out, and the seed catcher is a must have, especially for birds that love to flick their seed like my boy. Overall good construction, easy to put together (took about 20 mins or so, not counting me putting a side in upside down at first). Only downside is that it's clear the box had been piled onto, as the cage bars were flexed down and had to be straightened out some. Clearly one of the bottom boxes, and the Wright had pressed it down. Not the sellers fault, just something I noticed. Took nothing to give a slight bend back the other way to straighten. Would buy again if I needed another cage, for sure.

Honestly I wish all cages were this easy to go together. I was able to assemble it on my own without problem. Instructions were clear except when it came to the side panels and which way the doors should be facing. Easy fix though. Cage is absolutely gorgeous together, incredibly sturdy and the 'seed catcher' works great. I got this for my senior lovebird and it has already made a huge difference and stopped the nesting behavior. With the tray further away from the grate, she is unable to nest which has greatly reduced her hormone issues. The cage states being safe for smaller birds however I would be cautious as the bar spacing is more suitable for medium birds. Bar spacing for small conures and smaller species should be half an inch. So make sure you monitor your kiddos a bit when they first go in. You dont want them getting their head between the bars.

Many reviews mention cage parts missing. My parts were all there. Slight bend in one of the parts, but it did not turn out to be an issue. At the beginning of the assembly video where all of the pieces are laid out, that is what I did. I laid all of the pieces out exactly as shown in the video, then i turned to the instruction manual to assemble the cage. I was able to assemble about sixty percent of the cage myself and that took about 1 hour. It took about another 1.5 hours to assemble the rest of cage with the help of my daughter. When it's time to setup the ladder area and the dishes, refer to the video. It's much easier. I took off one star because one of the doors won't open. I have applied some heavy duty dish detergent and vingear to the hinge on the door to try and loosen it up and will check the status of that in the morning. Overall, a great sturdy cage.The 69 inch one is a good size for 2 medium sized birds in my opnion. Hope this helps.

J ai dû changer pour une plus grande pour répondre aux besoins de ma Conure. J ai acheté le plus grand modèle. Tout comme la plus petite: bonne qualité de matériel, verrous fiables, les roues pratiques vont bien. Le parc sur le dessus plaît beaucoup et bien fait. Pour avoir utilisé cette marque pendant 6 mois déjà je peux dire qu' elle se lave très bien. Aucune détérioration. Je me suis sentie en confiance d en acheter une deuxième. Facile à assembler. Tous les morceaux étaient là. Je vous recommande

I would probably rate it 3.5 stars. Overall I am really impressed with the value for the cost. Some of my complaints are comparing to our other bird cage that is better but also more expensive. Pros: -Very big bird cage for the price. -Very good quality of metal finish, I believe it is powder coated. -Happy that it includes 5 stainless steel dishes for food/water. -Happy that it includes a hanging rope perch, and 2 wood dowel perches. -I was impressed that the seed catch tray panels at the bottom have rounded corners. That is nice because we have kids. Cons: -We wish the gauge (diameter) of the wire bars was a little thicker. I realize that this wire thickness is perfect for our cockatiel and any medium to small birds. This would not be suitable for large birds such as parrots, as they would be able to bend or break the bars. These bars are 3.0mm diameter and 19mm spacing. We have a different cage with 4.5mm diameter bars and 24mm spacing that would be more suitable for larger birds. You can’t bend those bars, but there is slight flex to this Yaheetech bars. -The top perch and ladder is excessively tall. -The food and water dishes are inside the cage and our bird has pooped in them, versus having recessed dishes that are on the outside of the cage and the bird would have to stick only their head into the food dish. -The side panels are slid in between the front and back panels. It would be better if the wires were welded at the corners, but I understand that they construct it this way to make it smaller for shipping. Overall we are happy with the value of this bird cage, but there is more to be desired with features found in more expensive bird cages.
