The thread pattern was too big. It didn’t fit either of my Toyota. They should have included a compatible set.

Disappointed! 1 of the 8 screws is unusable because there is an extra piece of metal inside the star inset area (see photo). The hanging piece of metal won’t come off and won’t let me put the drill bit in it. Very frustrating. Screws are not shiny and feel like nickel rather than stainless steel, but time will have to tell on this aspect. Easy to install. I didn’t use anything other than the screws and washers. I just wish the company would send me a replacement for the defective screw.

I was very impressed with the quality of everything in this kit and with its completeness. Perhaps I didn't read the product description closely enough, but I was bowled over by the inclusion of TWO different tools to attach the theft-resistant screws: an Allen-wrench-like tool PLUS a hex-shaped bit for a ratcheting or electric screwdriver. There are also (not one, not two, but...) three good-quality drill bits in the kit. Really a good value for everything provided.

Ordered a third set of these license plate security screws; one silver and two black. They look great and work perfectly. They come with everything needed, including the security bit, vibration dampening pads and plastic caps. When you consider how much of a pain it would be to replace you license plate, these are a bargain. Plus, my vehicle is black, so I added a black license plate frame and these black screws just disappear, improving the entire look of the vehicle. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this kit worked. All of the pieces were useful and installation was easy. If you are looking for a no-nonsense setup, this is a solid choice. The plastic caps over the screws provide that extra bit of protection to the screws and from the plates getting stolen. The extra allen wrench is helpful on the off chance we need to remove the plates in the future and don't have the drill bit accessible.

The screws are strong, good diameter, the plasting clips are thick and clip in nicely. The security screw are a nice feature if you have vanity license plates you don't want stolen. I bought one package for just the plastic clips and when I saw how strong the plastic clips were then I ordered another set. I needed twelve for my tailgate cover and eight plastic clip are included. Good price for good quality clips and screws.

I’m not sure how prevalent license plate theft is where you live but around my home, I don’t think it exists. I bought this kit because I needed a few extra plate screws and this kit was about the same price as many of the others that were just plain screws. Might as well get a bit of security for free, right? Now like my tires have locking lug nuts, my cars also have locking license plates. What’ll they think of next?

I got two license plate holders, one regular sized which could be installed with the little ones, but then I got a huge Bumptek holder and the big ones made the job perfectly. For me it was ver easy to install since I placed the tip they sent in my scredriver and it wnt like hot knife on butter. Ask before buying for the correct size TYVM.
