Figured I give it a try. Pain in back and outer hip area arrived around 3:00 am. Used it. Pain slowly disapppeared. Stunned. I keep it nearby and only use it when needed. Most nights I'm fine without it. I thought I'd try because I was in the hospital for five days and the hospital bed bent in such way where my legs went up and down like this pillow allows my legs to. I found it comfortable in the hospital. When I came home I looked up knee pilows for sleeping on my back. Looked at a bunch and decided to start with this one. Glad I did.

This is a great pillow for using when you have low back pain and need extra support. I only use it when I'm needing extra support for low back pain. It is kind of large and takes up a decent amount of space in your bed but it is very comfortable and supportive and fits your legs just right to take the pressure off your low back when sleeping at night. I have even used this on the couch as a back support for my upper back/head to lay on when reading so it's a multi-use pillow if you get creative. I was hesitant at first to buy this because of the cost but I'm glad I did because it has helped support my back when I have low back pain. It is the right amount of firmness and support for me and I would recommend this.

The pillow offers good support but it is quite large if you plan to use it for your knees. It’s nice that is has a soft cover that can be removed for washing. The very large pillow comes shrink wrapped in a small roll in plastic which must be cut completely apart in order to get the pillow out. IF IT DOESN’T WORK FOR YOU, THEY REQUIRE THAT IT BE RETURNED IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE.

An extraordinary pillow that eliminates back pain when I wake up. I can actually stand up straight. This pillow has a hight of 10" which is what you need - but most of the wedge pillows are 4 or 5|" - that will not do anything - you need the height. Try this pillow - you will not be disappointed.

The angle is good, natural and restful, taking pressure from neck (I've had several diskectomies and spinal surgeries) and easing lower back pain BOTH. I've dealt with long term chronic pain for well over 20 years, having had several major cervical surgeries, including a spinal cord stimulator. The one suggestion is have is in choosing size. At 5'3," I fell under Size Small. However, my heels touching the mattress are too sensitive and irritating. I would have ordered a medium were in to do it over - and may yet do so to facilitate falling asleep.

Purchased this pillow thinking that it would help with my back and shoulder pain, but unfortunately it didn't. Tried using it for 2 months every night and although the support was great, it just didn't help with any of the pain at all. It just wasn't compatible with the pain I was dealing with. Still, the product itself is soft and supports well. I had to return it since I found myself actively not using it after 2 months.

The only foam product I've bought that didn't have an offensive smell. Strong smelling foam products also irritate skin until they off-gas. The large is good for a 6' person. When using the pillow under my knees my heels will gently rest on the mattress.

I toss and turn and wake up on my back. My back started hurting a few years ago. Now with chiropractor and physical therapy my back is better, and i've learned it is best to have something under knees if a back sleeper, so i got this. I've used it every night for a week and it makes a difference. I am 5'4" and got the recommended size (think a small but don't remember -- whatever the website says). I actually wish it was a little smaller because like in the picture, my feet do dangle a little, and it's winter so my feet are cold. I think if they touched the bed they'd not stay cold. Anyway, this item is sturdy. It came with a recommendation for a cover. I've not purchased that yet, wanted to see if this was akeeper first. It does come with a removable cover for washing, but I think a pillow case type cover would also be good. I do recommend it.
