LOVE IT!
I was between medium and the black firm one, and glad I went with the blue. It's still pretty hard and digs well into those spots. My boyfriend has an older version where the material is more like matte, whereas this one is more latex-y and as a result, when I'm rolling the bottom of my foot on the ground, it's picking up every hair ball and dust bunnie. But shouldn't be a problem after I rinse it under water. It's been working great thus far. This ball thing works wonders and you should get it if you're thinking about it!

Worked on a petite person's lower back
First of all, the company was supportive in helping us select the right product. Secondly, the rubber is softer and more comfortable than the two taped together tennis balls. The product is also much smoother, and rolls smoothly against a wall, which means that it can be used for massaging the lower back while doing squats for you multitaskers out there! It does not mark the wall. I brought it to my physical therapy session and my therapist liked the product as well, and wrote down the name of the product. What else? Initially the product hurt some, so I eased up on the pressure. As my back loosened up, the roller with increased pressure did not hurt. I think this, as well as my back feeling better, is a sign that the product, in conjunction with my other exercises has been helpful.

Great for tight muscles
My PT recommended these for tight muscles in my back. They work great for that and so much more. I use them on my legs to help relax my quads and hamstrings too.

High Quality and Perfect Firmness
I found it worked well for neck massage (occipital ridge). It wasn't so hard that hurt; it was just firm enough for the right amount of pressure.
