Sea Lion Junior Floating Fins

Bought them for my grandkids and they love using them. Worth the money

I bought these for my 2nd grader to use in swim team. When they arrived, they had a very odd smell to them so I put them out in the garage and hoped that using them in a pool would eventually freshen them up.My son has used them a few times since then, and he just loves them. In fact, he loves them so much that wants to buy a few extra pairs to keep on hand for his friends and cousins to use when they come visit. He says they're comfortable and help him swim really fast. I've noticed that he seems to zip through the water much faster so I guess he's right about that.He wears a size 1 shoe, and the fit seems just fine. They don't fall off easily, and they don't seem to rub or hurt when he's wearing them. They also seem easy to put on/take off. So far anyway, he hasn't asked for my help donning the fins. The smell hasn't completely dissipated, but it's getting fainter and definitely more tolerable. They're staying in the garage regardless so it doesn't really matter anymore.All in all, these are good sturdy fins at a great price. Most importantly, my son is thrilled with them and that's good enough for me.

Ordered a Large for my son who wears a Boys shoe size 5. They fit perfect. He was so excited on how fast he can swim now.

Both of our children are excellent swimmers, having completed Infant Swim Rescue (ISR) lessons in the past two years. They are excellent swimmers for their age and these flippers worked out very well.Relatively inexpensive, soft & pliable, and one of the smallest non-strap flippers available on Amazon. We had originally ordered the 9-12 for our son (with the size 10 foot) and the larger 12-1 size for our daughter (size 12 foot, but narrow).As molded pocket flippers, sizing can sometimes be difficult. In our case, the smaller flippers fit both children better & more snug.The only item I would change is to put a pull tab on the back of the flipper, to allow the kids to put the flippers on more easily themselves.Overall a great product for a great price. If debating between sizes, go for the smaller size. It's better not to have them fall off, rather than try to stretch them to use for two summers (or seasons).

I bought these for my 7 year old who wears a 2 1/2/3 in Kids and they fit him well in the water. When he first got them in the mail and tried them on in our living room, he complained (an inordinate amount) about how tight they were but I told him to reserve judgement for the water and when he tried them in the pool, he was fine. We just returned from 2 1/2 weeks in Hawaii and he wore them nearly every day with no complaints and loved the extra speed and agility them gave him. I'm very pleased with the quality and comfort of these fins!On another note, he's a latecomer to swim lessons (3rd kid what can I say) and the fins have made a huge difference in helping him to understand small flutter kicks. We purchased them for our trip to Hawaii but when he tried them at swim lessons, his instructor had him keep them on because they forced his legs into the proper form and helped him to continue doing that naturally without them on!

These fit my 6yo son with size 12 1/2 feet. (I ordered size 12-1) They were snug enough so they wouldn't fall off in the water, but not so tight that they were uncomfortable. They are *temporarily* buoyant, so be careful. They will float on top of the water for a short period of time, but eventually they will sink. And if they were to come off below the water's surface, they will not float to the top. But they are very sturdy and can take a beating if your kid is rough on stuff.
