Awesome product. Works great for me. Better than any glue when it comes to the "cleaning up" process. I would recommend for anyone needing a good solid bond but, for me it does not holds for weeks. Four days max. But I am also a person that does not have a hairpiece all the time. I found that it does loosen a bit when you sweat A LOT; light sweat, no problem.Keep in mind that these comments are things that happen to me so, it may work better for you, or not.

I use this tape for costuming, a beard and wig setup. This tape is extraordinarily adhesive, has worked like a charm, but it is so sticky that it requires exceedingly sharp scissors to cut and sometimes sticks to fingers before it can be applied to the costume devices. Still, this has been much better than the adhesive glue that I had previously used. I am happy that I found this.

You could sky dive with this tape with no problem. It only takes about a half an inch of tape whereas before I needed at least two inches for reliable adhesion. This is a very good economic option in today's disintegrating economy. I can get through three days without having to replace the tape. The longer you can keep on the better. Because removing the tape from the hair unit means there is still a lot of adhesion left between the tape and the unit. It is difficult to remove. I found that if I roll the tape with my finger I can keep the tape from decomposing. Even after the tape is removed you can still get an additional one or two uses from the remaining stickiness. Before applying more tape make sure you remove all adhesive with a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol.

I was using glue before but decided to try double sided tapes and this one worked well. Sometimes it’s difficult to remove the backing peel when placed on the unit and cutting it with scissors eventually makes ur scissors sticky.

Perhaps I got this for the wrong thing I don’t wear toupees but it seems to sell a lot for that purpose and that’s a good thing but I purchased a formal gown to wear to a wedding and I needed some extra support for my pasties this was not the tape to get as suggested by sales rep, it’s too thin it curled up and everything, it does not stay so maybe I need a wider tape that might do the trick but it’s not for use for extra support for something that’s already tacky

I can't speak to the hold time since I take my wigs off at night and only wear them during the day. Overall, this is a decent product, but there are better options out there.Pros:very strong adhesiveCons:strong glue smell, but it does dissipate once you've had it out of the package for a while. If you leave it in the package, it takes a week or 2 of daily usage for the smell to become tolerable.sticks to the backing better than the skin, so removing the backing can be very difficultsticks to the lace better than the skin, removing with rubbing alcohol works but it comes off the skin before the lace, leaving a little more cleanup than I'd like.
