High Performance Primer

I used this to prime heavy gates, after first sanding and removing all rust. 5 years later, finish coat still looks great. A neighbor repaired their wrought iron, didn't prime like I did - within 1-2 years their top coat looks terrible, need to redo entire job.

Same color as body shop primer. Same kind of finish. Easy to spray. Has held up well to elements in spite of not finishing final paint color yet.

As title says. Almost impossible to mess up using Primer but this is super easy to spray. I have used this on a couple of painting projects and no complaints.

I always use rust oleum products, they seem to holdup well

Love this stuff. Interesting to compare this with the Rustoleum "Rusty Metal Primer" -- they're rather different, so choose carefully. I use both, depending on what's being painted. What I like about this 7569838 product is the large size and the comfortable spray nozzle. Note: a lot of paint will come out fast -- but if you're properly set up that's a good thing. Coverage is luxurious; I wish all paint went on this well. So I'm very happy.
