It's nice that the legs can come off for little baby birds but then pop on when they get taller. There are lots of holes for the food and it's plastic so does not rust of have sharp edges that poke. It seems sturdy -- the first one has been sitting mostly outside for well over a year now. It seemed expensive but I think it's worth it.
