Retevis RT619 Walkie Talkie Mini

Great little radios.Brought for on site use to replace some baofeng chinese radios which the aerials had broken.Picked these as they are tiny in size, and had good reviews.Have not dissapointed. Get a good radio signal at about 300m through multiple story reinforced concrete buildings. Haven't tested full range yet but are limited.Despite the size they are extremely loud. Can be heard of a busy and noisy site.Reasonably water resistant as have had them out in the torrential rain recently and have still survived.Useful that they both charge off one usb cable so keep them plugged in, in the van.Do feel a bit cheap in the hand, but for 25 quid you can't complain. I will be buying a 2nd set shortly.

Great small walkie talkie's. Easy to hold and use. Good sound quality. Also provided with wrist cord and also belt fitting. Recommended.

In general these radios are a great choice for recreational or hobbies and a great value for money.They are light weight and sturdy and easy to use.Have in mind that the maximum range can vary depending on your environment, best distances are generally reached under optimal conditions (e.g. open line of sight).More realistic is to assume a shorter range, because houses, trees, and other obstacles can reduce the signal quality significantly.Because of this, it is perfectly normal that these radios perform best in close range communication. The range quality test which I tested, worked efficiently and clearly up to a maximum of 500-600 metres.In addition, the low output power extends battery life, and you can use the radios longer while consuming less power.

Only just received , so far so good. Only time will tell

Brilliant little walkie talkies work well just be careful of the plus and minus as a default setting changes channel can me knocked easily but bar that great walkie talkie

Fantastic little gear!We use them for climbing multi pitch where wind can make communication very difficult. With this we can have literally conversations at a great distance.

head set not included. can find cheaper with complete attachments if search online this offer is expensive and incomplete shuld use the walkie talkie with headset much easier .

Lo primero recomendar el servicio al cliente por parte de Retevis, les doy un 10, tuve un problema con mis unidades y me lo resolvieron muy rápido.Quería unos walkies para usar en el campo con la idea de comunicarnos entre varios ya sea en bosque o por la finca. Principalmente los compré por el tamaño y porque decía que tenían bastante alcance. En la caja vienen los 2 walkies, clips y cordón para cada uno, un cable de carga con 2 salidas micro USB y el manual de instrucciones. En la mano son muy cómodos y ligeros, es todo platico aunque parece algo resistente (no para golpes fuertes o agua) y la batería es removible. Por lo que he probado, la batería dura unos cuantos días teniéndolos siempre encendidos y con poco uso de comunicaciones. El modo VOX funciona muy bien y es fácil de activar con la secuencia de botones que explica el manual.El alcance no he probado más de 1km/ 1,5km en zona de bosque con arboles altos, pero se podía comunicar OK a esa distancia con algún corte y más ruido estático de fondo. Tiene los 16 canales estándar pero configurados de tal manera que solo se comunican entre los Retevis, para dejar los canales en abierto se debe tener el cable de configuración para PC, también lo tienen en venta. Con este cable y el software de configuración se pueden realizar todo tipo de modificaciones a los walkies Retevis, configurar la frecuencia de cada canal y los subtonos además de más cosas. No hay ningún manual para el software de configuración pero el servicio al cliente Retevis podrá ayudar siempre.
