I got sick and tired of kitchen scissors that didn't have a full metal handle, they would always break. So I started my research on Amazon to find all metal ones and I found these Newness stainless steel scissors at an affordable price and they exceeded my expectations. They feel really solid and well made and I don't think the handle will ever break on these. The blades are extremely sharp be careful because I already cut myself with them haha. These are the best scissors I've had in a LONG time and they are perfect for the kitchen drawer as they are multipurpose. I've been putting it through its paces with cutting all sorts of different material and so far it has sliced through everything like butter. Very happy and I high recommend these!

I am a kitchen nut. I have a $450 Damascus steel Kramer chef knife. I have set of All-Clad pots. I try to to buy things that are durable and can pass down to my kids. For example I know my cast iron frying pans will be in the family for another hundred years. I had a couple of Henckel scissors that I loved and so did the rest of my family and they lost one. Now the only Henkels available are those that come apart and I detest them. I like a scissor that does not come apart and are heavy duty. I ordered three is scissors to replace my one missing Henkel, including the Newness scissor. I ordered a KitchenAid and another high rated one. They are good. But when I got the Newness scissor the weight and soundness and the sound it made when you opened and closed it shows that this item is in a class by itself. It is one of those products that is durable, it will last, and is simply old fashioned high quality. This will get passed down in my family. The other scissors although highly rated are not even in the same class. When you put one in your hand you will understand why.

Am pretty sure these are the same as what I own. They cut great, feel heavy duty and hefty. Bought Fiskars long ago, they were great shop scissors. That pair went away and bought an updated pair. The 2nd pair are pretty much useless. Ordered another set of these because they do what is expected.

Bought these to replace the plastic handled ones that are so commonplace now. These are SOLID. Cutting crabs is a snap for tog season here. They're sharp and easy to clean.... Hope they hold up to the saltwater.
