First you need a smart phone and a account for apps to use this camera. It can only be viewed live, by your phone. Both devices must be connected to your secure 2.5 GHZ wi-fi to set up. Records only to micro sd so you have to remove the chip and play through another device to see recordings. I still need to find an adapter to check that.The instructions/set-up way sketchy, and need some figuring out, as well as the only tool an IT person can be trusted with, a bent paperclip.If you can do that it works as advertised, to view remotely from anywhere with the phone app, I call it Tele-Vision (TM) Greek for distance viewing.Also the two way sound only barley detectable and the iR night vision had a short range. Manual says 35' but I had less. H. field of view was a tad over 90 deg.Update ... after a month they still work fine. I was able to play back micro SD video through computer. However the file extension had to be changed to get my computer to recognize it as a clip to play.

I thought I'd try these as I am a pretty handy guy and can usually get past things that defeat other buyers, such as not following directions.Nope.These things are junk, and the software they devised might as well have been written by vandals.Where to start? On one (of 3) cameras I bought the mini SD card ejected once (because it wouldn't format in the camera so I thought I'd re-seat it) and then would not click back into place. One and done! It just uselessly springs in and out, but won't click into place.I've re-started cameras 2 and 3 more than 10x each trying to get the phone app to recognize them and it's been impossible, but frustratingly so. Each step is painfully slow, and each camera can't quite get to the end of the multi-step process before failing at one step or another before completion. Sometimes it's at the first connecting step, other times it fails after you enter the password, and so on. And it's not like it tells you it has failed, the software simply does nothing and sits there until you figure out it isn't working.Customer support? No support for YOU!My only question is, why would anybody go to all the trouble of manufacturing something, marketing and selling it, if it doesn't even work minimally, let alone at all? Why bother? Well, the morans [sic] at Rubetek did, and I will be sure to never buy another thing from them ever again.

It has to be plugged in at all times for it to work. So how is it a hidden camera??? nah I returned it... not worth the money!

Excellent surveillance camera. Couldn’t have wished for more. So many features for the price that I can honestly say it can be more expensive and still worth it. The image quality is superb and the motion detection is 150% accurate, it even Detect our cat at night moving lol Night vision feature is great, When you review the footage, everything is as clear as day. We feel very safe now.

I've purchased many home security cameras, usually they're difficult to set up and the quality, when they work, isn't good. BUT these, are amazing camera! Easy to use and great quality pics. If you need an affordable security camera for inside your home, I highly recommend this product.

There are lots of reports about this camera not being able to connect to the wifi network. I tried and tried and nothing work. All of the online manuals, website, help videos are in Russian. What a scam. Sending this back asap.

Great image and speed, easily connects with the app on the phone and/or tablet.I can record video on my phone or tablet, or on the SD. or take images if I like, or just use it to see the live stream.It has night vision and the images are very clear with the night vision.

Will not record anything on motion Detect. I get a motion alert but it doesnt record what set the alert off. Also it will not let me enter my phone number to get SMS alerts. It defaults to Russia and will not let you change the country for phone number. Saoftware is not reliable have to reset all the time to get alerts to work. Have to reset to get mic to work. Camera itself seem like its well made just seems like the software needs a lot of improvements.
