Bear Archery Salute Ready to Hunt Compound Bow Includes Trophy Ridge Sight, Whisker Biscuit, Peep Sight, and S-Loop

I'm gonna skip the part where people complain about how it was shipped and the peep and all that. I installed my own pee, sight, rest and counterweight because I have a set up that I like. I have the bow set at max draw weight. Once the cams do their job this thing draws easy. I have a bow vice at home, so setting the draw length and string stops took no time. Took me 5 mins to tune my sites in and this thing shoots GREAT! Far less fatigue on my draw arm. 15 yards away and the group was 2". This bow is great for any level user. Given that the draw min is 50 lbs, I would say that it takes someone with developed archery shooting muscle to use this bow, compared to my older single cam bow, this thing draws and shoots like butter. Keep making quality products Bear. You nailed it on this bow.

I bought this bow and went through the exact same process as one other reviewer wrote here, peep sight came with it separately and i had to install it and Trophy Ridge sight is almost useless so i also moved to the next most affordable and normal sight which was Truglo 5 pin sight.So if you buy this bow i recommend also order some better sight along with it so that both arrive at the same time and you'll now have really ready to hunt bow.the bow itself is amazing and shoots great!

As the title says this is my first ever compound Bow. Ive never been hunting before, but ive always really wanted to get into it. The bow came on time, but there was a couple things wrong with the bow from the start. The peep hole was not installed, the seight was bent, and the S loop was not holding the arrow itself level. BUT all in all, I absolutely love the bow. I went out got some arrows cut to my length, got a Tru Glow 5 pin seight, Tru Glow quiver, some random kisser, and a 1/4" peep hole on the bad boy! Do not forget to register the bow when you get it! I would easily recomend this bow, I will hopefully be posting a nice deer with the bow by my side this season!

First of all mine didn't come with the advertised 3-pin sight. An email to customer support and they are sending one to me. Second, reading the manual about draw length and draw weight adjustments there are several models of bows listed with settings, number of turns, etc. with charts. The model of bow is not listed in any of the charts in the manual that comes with this bow. Another email to customer support and I hope I get the answer I need. If not this is going back and I'll have to get my son a different one.

Not all that ready right out of the box, would definitely recommend taking it to a professional to have it set up. Also the peep sight doesn't come installed but that is something that should be set up for you specifically so having it preinstalled could mean having it set up wrong. But the bow is great which is no surprise since it's a Bear, would definitely recommend to anyone who is just starting with bow or is an intermediate shooter.

This was a terrible product. All the bolts were rusted out. It was new but looked like it has been stored in a flood zone. Warning do not buy!

This is by far the best budget beginner compound bow ive seen. Absolutely incredible build quality and performance for the price!!!

Wasnt bad straight out of thw box site was clearly off but still hit the target only problem is about the 20th time pulling it back the string came off the came luckily theres an archery shop near me so im heading to get it fixed
