It is the perfect size. It's small enough for my 3 year old to wear but big enough to fit his preschool folder and lunch box. The colors are very vivid and cute - he loves it. The quality is as good as it should be. I highly recommend this backpack.

I was looking for a bookbag that my 4 year old could take to K4. This is the perfect size. He can easily carry this and books or folders of normal size as needed. It only has one side pocket for water bottles but other than that, I'm pleased with it.Picture shows this book bag beside a regular middle school bookbag.

Perfect for my 5 year old. Had it about a month, and it seems like it will hold up nicely! The cheapo I got from Target only lasted 5 months, this one is definitely much better quality.

I wasn't sure if I should give a "cheaper backpack" a try for my 4/5 year old to start Kindergarten. My friends said "buy a good one, not a cheap one. You want one that lasts!". It hasn't been all that long so I will update my review, but so far great!!! Seems well made it's super cute, zippers are easy for my LO to open. It's also a good size. It will fit any papers, lunch bag etc. Happy I went with this***update: backpack still going strong. I am very satisfied with this purchase

My little one loves his school bag, and as Mammy so do I.it's a decent size - big enough to fit spare clothes , packed lunch and his school file.It's sturdy - bag has survived nearly 3 weeks of being handled by a 4 year old.and for me the plus side is - it's water proof. the heavens opened the other day and all his clothes and story book stayed completely dry.Will be buying bag again for my youngest when she starts school and if my eldest out grows monsters

My little girl just started Kindergarten, and this backpack is perfect! It’s not too small and not too big! Perfect size! Easy for her to get in and out of and super cute! Love it!
