Works well as a sunscreen and can see a noticeable difference in my skin when I consistently wear it. Does have a slight white cast and sunscreen smell. I am pale so doesn’t bother me too much. White cast fades after about 30 minutes for me, once it absorbs.

My skin is extra dry and I love the feeling that this balm gives me. I noticed that the regular b5 balm seems to have a different formulation compared to the one that is called “soothing therapeutic” and so I have specifically bought this one because I love the texture. I like going to bed with the thick layer on top of all my serums and retinol.
