I got a stainless strainer, unlike product description (or picture…I can’t remember now? But that doesn’t bother me. Bottles worked great for our first batch of kombucha. We did a second fermentation to get carbonation and it was amazing. Great company with lots of resources to help you brew your own.

These are excellent Kombucha jars, but we found it better to just save our store bought kombucha jars and use those instead. We now use these for the maple syrup we make. They work excellently for that purpose.

The kit had everything you need to make and bottle kombucha. You need to buy the scoby separately.

One of 6 bottles arrived broken. No fault of the supplier. I contacted the seller and they promptly replied and shipped a replacement bottle and an extra one!

Bottles work great for what I want and the price seems reasonable, but I didn't shop around. I've ordered several items from Fermentaholics and have generally been pleased. With this order, however, the funnel is collapsable plastic, for which I am greatly disappointed - I am not a fan of plastic and detest it immensely, especially in the kitchen and/or with home brew, etc. I was expecting metal, as has been included previously (thus, only 3 stars). The photo is not current; if it's mentioned in the description, I didn't read carefully.

These bottles work great for brewing Kombucha. They give your brew a professional look, great quality (no blow ups), and the grommets are good quality.

Strong glass

The first time I bottled my kombucha with these it turned out great. Every time I tried to bottle with these after the first time they wouldn't hold carbonation and eventually, the seal wouldn't latch shut. Do not buy these they are terrible quality bottles.

Perfect for kombucha! They hold up REALLY well to the pressure if you are doing a 2nd brew. I accidentally left a few bottles brewing for too long, when I opened the bottles it was like a volcano eruption. Seriously, my poor ceiling haha Must be some nice glass thickness and quality closures to withstand pressure like that. Love that the kit comes with a bottle brush for easy cleaning. Would 100%buy again if I ever needed more bottles.

All arrived in order, I called the seller to ask a couple questions and they were fantastic, we geeked out a bit talking fermentation and they directed me to their very informative website.

While the whole set was pretty good and complete for someone new starting to brew Kombucha, but two issues are - one of the bottles as shown in the image had some crack where the flip-top is attached to the bottle and the glass chipped and fell into the bottle when I opened it for the first time. Other thing is that the set is quite pricey for the contents.
