I recently purchased Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals Moisturizing Shampoo for All Hair Types, and I couldn’t be more impressed with its quality and performance. This gives me supermodel hair. I don't even need conditioner. No build up. I ran out of bodywash and used it for shaving and it's the first soap I've used in 10 years that made my psoriasis/eczema better! It smells so soft and has a fair amount of suds for a sodium laurel sulphate free product. I can't wait to branch out and try their other stuff. I love that I can get a huge bottle and just refill the small one, cut down in cost and waste. I've always wanted an all in one product, but I never thought I'd find one! Grabbing their conditioner for in between treatment and skin softening, but you really don't need it with this epic soap!

Years ago I realized that since shampoo is basically just a gentle soap, it works well as a "body wash" for cleaning other parts of your body when you take a bath. And since other parts of the body don't need the care your normal hair needs, you can essentially use the cheapest shampoo you can find for use as a "body wash". Since I was getting low on my supply of "cheap shampoo", I started searching for what options I could find on Amazon, and found this shampoo which had good product reviews. Since this shampoo can be purchased in a gallon "refil size" (which greatly lowers the cost per ounce of this shampoo) I decided to buy a gallon and give it a try. And I'm pleased to report that my initial tests have shown this shampoo working well as both a "body wash" and as a traditional shampoo for cleaning my hair. As a body wash, it seems to to a very good job and its minor scent seems more pleasant than the scent of most other shampoos I've used in the past. But the real surprise to me was that this shampoo seemed to work abount as well on my hair as the much more expensive salon shampoo I have been using. So if this pattern holds out, I'll likely not buy more of the salon shampoo when I finish my current supply, and instead use this shampoo as both a body wash and for actuallly washing my hair. NOTE: Since I bought the gallon "refill" size, I natually don't use the shampoo directly from this bottle. But as long as you have any refillable squeeze bottles, you just pour the shampoo into those bottles and use them for the actual dispensing. In my case I had already bought (from a different Amazon seller) a multi-pack of reueable squeeze bottles priimarily designed to be used with things like mixed paints. However, just because these bottles were primarily designed for "arts and crafts", doesn't mean they don't make excellent (refillable) dispensing bottles for use with this shampoo. NOTE: I also noticed that this shampoo "lather's up" less than a lot of the shampoo varieties I've used in the past. But since the lather (foam) is not the primary thing doing the cleaning, this also isn't any sort of a problem for me personally.

Good stuff. Worth the money. It doesn't sud very well, but it cleans like I would expect. No fake smell.

I have really enjoyed using this shampoo. It's nice and creamy, smells good and does the job...

UPDATE 12/27/25-I HAVE TO SAY THAT MY HAIR LOVES THIS EVEN THOUGH IT HAS SOME UNNATURAL INGREDIENTS. I MAY ACTUALLY CONTINUE TO PURCHASE, BUT I AM SO SCARED OF HAIR LOSS WITH ANY NEW SHAMPOO. FINGERS CROSSED. WILL TRY TO UPDATE AGAIN. I have only tried one time. Seems to be very moisturizing, but I wasn't a fan of the smell. It smells nice, but there must be a particular ingredient that I smell that is a turn off to me and smell like petroleum or something. It does contain phenoxyethanol, which may be it. It is also not a "clean" ingredient, which is why I only gave 3 stars. I most likely won't repurchase because of that ingredient, sadly.

I just recieved and tried today.I truly enjoyed the smell and subtle feeling of it.Dosent feel sticky like others.Great product.Looking forward to trying others.
