A great & mostly unknown Thai dish.
Easy to make. It says to use duck but I use chicken. The taste is sweet & tangy. Put boiled eggs in there to provide a good side kick. You should eat it with rice.

This is NOT the Thai Palo Mix you are looking for...
This is a straight up blend of "5 different spices" that's heavy on cinnamon and contains bay leaves (???) While very fragrant and pleasant, it is neither the classic Chinese or Thai 5 spice mix. If you are looking to make Thai style Palo try the LOBO Pa-Lo Thai Seasoning Mix Powder (Thai-Style Five-Spice Blend).
