You get what you pay for
I shoulda know better. These are knock offs of the Yozuri squids. They look just like them but if you are going to use them all the hooks need to be replaced. They come with cheap hooks that will not stand up to large striped bass or blue fish.

I am on my 3rd set of these...... They work!
I really wish they would sell the Neon green and yellow one by it self because that is the one that hits the most. Every year by the end of the season the Neon yellow and green one is sooooo bit up it barely runs right. I usually go thru one set a season and this is my 3rd set. Muskie and Pike LOVE these. For some reason they only work in colder temp waters. Water under 63 degrees. Never caught one in the summer time. I do best in early spring or late fall. I typically troll 4 of these behind the boat in 15ft to 20ft of water. I try to stay between 2.4 mph and 2.9 mph. I figure they dive between 10ft - 13ft. I do a shoreline of 1.7 miles and turn around. I typically can catch 1 fish every other up and down. My best day was 6 pike/muskie in about 3 hours. Never caught anything else on these but pike/muskie. Typical size is between 24" to 45". The other thing I like to do is when I am going thru the lakes on the river in the no wake zones. I like to tilt my motor at like a 45 degree angle so the prop puts up a little white wash water. I will take my 7 ft heavy duty muskie rod and put it right over the motor and let one of these go about 9" under the water right in the white wash. Next thing you know your cruising along listening to music, going 1.5 mph, having a beer and slam the rod bends and you see a 40" fish flopping on the surface.

What to know because using the lures.
These lures are great. Only thing about them is you will need to change the hooks and also don't use the front ring when you attach you line to them. Had 1 broke off because of this and had 3 lures with completely destroyed hooks after the first hits. After changing the hooks they worked amazing. Ran them out about 150 yards cruising at 6 to 8 knots while sailing in the Gulf from Louisiana to Florida. We caught a lot of fish.
