Got this to more easily find my indoor/outdoor cat when he ventures outside the house. It may work great as a key/wallet/purse locator but not great as a pet locator. First of all it's borderline too big to be hanging off a collar of a cat or small dog. Then the range is a joke in the real world. If I was standing in the front yard it wouldn't pick up my cat in the back yard 60ft away. In fact it wouldn't pick up the cat unless he's pretty much right in front of me. Finally the app is useless, why does it only show me a map of where the cat was after the fact? When you're locating it just shows you rings that doesn't give you any indication of where your pet is until you get within 5ft of it.Update: tile completely dead after 6 months probably a battery issue. The one time I needed to use it (stupidly left my keys at a home Depot checkstand) it didn't work.

I've had two of these for less than 2 weeks and they are useless. They cannot find my tiles no matter how close or how many times I restart my phone/ Bluetooth. They are always connecting. Biggest POS out there. Major disappointment especially since one is with my wallet...

This is my second tile. My first one was given to me as a gift and came from a big box retailer. I never had any issues with it, in fact, it was a game-changer because I can NEVER FIND MY KEYS!This one from Amazon is awful by comparison. It takes forever to pair & I have to be in really close range for it to even sync with my phone. Most times, I end up finding my keys on my own while walking around the house, trying to get close enough for it to actually sync. Today, I opened the app and it said the last contact with the tile was six blocks away from my house... my keys were in the living room and had been overnight. I hadn't been at the "last known location" of my keys in almost 24 hours... yet had them on or near me the entire time since then. In some cases, they were right next to each other in my purse.I don't know if it's a defective Tile, or maybe this company is where inferior, old, or defective Tiles are sent... all I know is it doesn't hold a candle to my last one & I'm stuck paying double because it's worth it to me to purchase one that actually works. Looks like I'll be getting one from the big box retailer where my first (the Tile that worked correctly) was purchased.I absolutely recommend Tile... just not purchasing one from here.

I love this thing. And that’s putting it lightly. After I lost my keys for a week I was freaking out and started researching what I could do to track those suckers. And I’ve bought a tile before as a gift for someone who always lost everything but she never used it so I never got a good idea about it. Love this tiny thing. I lose my keys or my husband wakes me up asking where my keys are and I’m still asleep. All I have to do is hit a button and my keys sing. Lost my phone? No problem it has a reverse find your phone song too! Best purchase ever.

I need to update that when this gadget didn’t work they refunded promptly !! This particular one only worked part time and sometimes not at all. Very disappointed I went with the more expensive one the darker colored one next time I had better luck

Love love love these! There's nothing that can set me off in a panic in the morning that not being able to find my keys. I have an Echo Dot so I don't even need to use the app, I just tell Alexa to "find my keys." I signed up for the premium service and it shows me the last places my keys/other devices were, and if I get too far away from them (if I left my wallet at home for example) I will get an alert that says it looks like I may have left my wallet at home. Genius!
