Pretty good deal of a phone for my son's first, 1 year in no issues

Buying my pixel through Amazon renewed has been a positive experience. It is a used phone and I did manage to find, after very very very carefully searching, to extremely fine subsurface Mars that are unnoticeable to anyone but me, especially with the phone on. For all intents and purposes it looks brand new. The phone in and of itself is everything that I had hoped it to be. The performance and the battery life is great with tons of options to balance performance or balance battery life depending on that particular day's needs. as for the individual seller that put it up for sale on Amazon renewed I am also happy with them. The initial box I received was labeled with 128 GB and the phone was the 64. I'm sure it was a simple accident when it was originally packed months and months ago. The replacement was sent immediately upon notice, and I had 45 days to return the old one. I really like this policy. It's an expensive item and I want it right away and they shipped the second and correct 128 GB Pixel 3 XL the following morning. The packaging for the box was obviously not the brand new pixel box, however it was packaged neatly, organized well, and in a state of protection. There was a plastic seal over the screen to prevent scratches and there was a charger plug, cable, plus a audio port converter for you old school audio files. There was also an adapter so I could easily transfer my phone contents into the new pixel. Good experience and it was up and running in no time. If you haven't tried a Google Pixel 3 XL 128 GB. I highly recommend. In regards to storage capacity and consistent updates from Google, everything you have heard is true. today is February the 10th and my most recent security and software update is February 5th. It happens monthly. As far as storage capacity The pixel beats out the Samsung line due to less junk software installed. I have a tremendous amount of apps that I personally use plus I also have a encrypted work profile on the phone. All together I have well over 100 apps. After having a couple of weeks to get all of my apps up and running, all of my maps downloaded onto the device etc it shows I have 12 gigs even of system usage for the operating system and a total of 25 gigs used. So in short I have 100 free gigs to allow my device to perform like a rocket ship. This sucker is fast. Spend the extra money and get the extra storage space. I've always used 64 GB hard drives with a 128 GB SD card and it always ends up slowing down on me. This beast of a pixel performs so much better and since the operating system is small and not filled with bloatware expect to have about 100 gigs free. The rule of thumb for you non-techies is to have at least 50% of your hard drive free for optimum performance as the phone was designed. Oversize your battery get the 128.

I am not a phone geek but I know how to do things on them as I was rooting phones many years ago when it was cool to do so but no need to do that stuff anymore. I was using a s6 edge + before I bought this.. Its a major upgrade for me . It is about the same size as my old phone, maybe a half inch longer but same width. There is no bloatware garbage on this phone. I use straight talk on the ATT towers, I simply inserted the card and it identified the network automagically with the correct setting, LTE MMS and SMS all worked without having to change a setting. I streamed youtube for an hour to chromecast and the phone barely got warm. Only things I miss, Wireless Charging but it's not a deal breaker because it takes about an hour and 45 mins to go from 0-100% charge and the charge easily lasts me all day and I listen to 3 hours of podcasts a day when I am at work. Unless you are a total phone snob and have to have the latest greatest processor and 12 gigs of ram you will be 100% satisfied with this phone. I would say it's a great phone for 95%+ of the people. Comes in plain white box with charging cable and charging block...

Pixel 3 XL - I recommend this vendor because I had good luck with the phone I got and the seller was great to work with on resolving a shipping issue I encountered the day that delivery was supposed to take place. I think overall this was a good purchase for me, here's what I though about the actual phone. -- Appearance -- It was in good to really good condition. There are some minor scuff marks on the screen. Nothing detrimental to the performance, but I found them and didn't like them. Sad face. The body looked good until I found a bit of paint missing near the charging port, presumably from being dropped. Again, sad face. Not looking good so far, but they were minor blemishes I could live with. Also, nothing a case and a screen protector couldn't help to reduce being noticed. -- Performance -- Everything under the hood is in working order and seems to be humming along just fine. We'll see in a month or two if everything is still, at that time, working. May update if I feel the need. The camera, phone calls, texting, data connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth and speakers are all working like they should and are spot on in every sense of my expectations! Happy face. Things turned for the better here. The phone, the main components, seemed to be in working order and no laggines or sleepiness. -- Battery -- Here's where I was the most worried. However, worry not, this battery seems to be in good order! Still waiting on a wireless charger to test that capability but will soon see if it's working and update. Seems to have about 85% of original battery life. May be actually less and may find out a little while from now but it seems at the moment that everything for the battery is looking good. Happy face. -- Overall -- A good phone for a good price for being not very old. I was pleased with my purchase and felt lucky since there have been others who have not had such luck. Happy face.

I ordered this Amazon renewed product at the recommendation of a Amazon customer service agent. I had stated I was very leery ordering a used cell phone but they said that they stand by their products by all costs and would help me in any way possible if I received an item that wasn't up to my standards. Well, I received the item and it definitely is not up to my standards. The body of the cell phone looks like it's been heavily used for at least 5 years. The charger that I came with is not only an off-brand charger, it was not compatible with my device and charged it a whole whopping 1% during an hour time span. Then I moved it to a charger that was previously used on my other pixel, the one that I actually got from the cell phone provider, and it only charged 3% in an hour. And if anyone knows anything about the pixel 3aXL you know how amazing the battery is and how fast it charges and how long it lasts. That's not the case with this phone. Then.. yes there's more, I finally put in my SIM card only to find out that this phone is definitely indeed not unlocked. Again, as the description says, this is not an unlocked phone. I reached out to customer service and the seller. Customer service did not stand by their product as stated. And not only that they cannot guarantee me a replacement that will actually work. I just wasted a whole lot of money that I was scared of using in the first place but like I said Amazon said it would be fine. It's not.

first, read carefully the description of the item. in my case the phone came with no deep scratches, only a realy, realy smal scratch a the top right of the screen but after I added screen protector it was gone!. the phone overal condition is like new, I got the white version and is perfect. the charger that comes in the box is a samsung charger with a cable that is not usb type c on both sides, this is important to note, because it will only work for charge the phone, no for files transfer. for me the price was excellent!! the phone is unlocked, you can use the sim card from any carrier and it should work. and there is no boot logo when turning on the phone other than Google. the battery life as described by the seller is 80% off capacity because is not new, and that is the case with every smartphone in the world. if you use the phone, for Social media like(facebook, instagram, youtube etc) the phone will be good to use for a day. but you will always have to charge it(daily). this phone does not have the option for external sd card, so you need to know the internal storage this is very importan because the photo file size is large because the photos are realy good. I recommend the 128 gb option. the functionality: many people say that the 4 gb of ram is not good, but let me tell you, you will not notice the difference, if you are a normal user. I have one month with this phone and is still perfect!!!

The specific phone that I received was almost flawless! There were zero scratches on the screen and back! There was one slight wear mark on the back around the finger print sensor where the case from the previous owner used to be, but I don't mind it at all! It just shows that the phone was well cared for and was likely just a trade-in. Functionally, everything is running awesome. I don't have any complaints just yet. Coming from a Galaxy S7, this Pixel is just fantastic. However, I'll update my review later after further testing and normal use. But as of right now, this is seriously an incredible buy for a renewed phone! ***Update: After some months now, the phone is still running awesome! The charging cord that it came with, however, decided to stop working. But that isn't as big of a deal since its easily replaced. The phone itself is still great!

This phone was delivered on time and I was really happy to get it. At first it appeared to have few Issues but with refurbished items I've purchased in the past some are great and some not so great so I usually wait to post a review. The great things are that the pixel 3xl is a fast phone, does what I want it to do and has plenty of space. The not so great things are most likely because it was purchased as a refurb and those things have to do with the battery life being not as long and the battery needs to be plugged in and recharged throughout the day or 4 hours later I will not have a phone that works. The main issue that is difficult to deal with is that I cannot hear callers at all unless I put them on speaker phone or use a bluetooth headset. I usually use a bluetooth because I've found callers complaining that they cannot hear me if I put them on speaker. So I just do a lot of texting and try to work around these problems. Also sometimes the phone just randomly restarts itself which is weird and thats annoying if I'm on a call, especially if I have had a long hold time and have to wait all over again. Other then these things the phone is fine. If you want a phone that works perfectly, I wouldnt recommend you get refurbished but I didn't have a lot of money and phones are so expensive these days that I just deal with the issues.

Great phone works wonders and battery life is excellent last along time even when listening to music or watching videos

Been using the phone for 6 months or so & it's great. Arrived in perfect condition - no scratches on the screen or body. Battery life is great too. Even for an older model phone, I'd highly recommend.

Fantastic deal on a great phone! Android is excellent on a google phone, no bloatware like my previous Samsung. Only grip would be that there was no google USB micro to USB C adapter, which made the changeover harder than it needed to be, but a first party charger and USB C cable was included.
