EXCELLENT BLUETOOTH RECEIVER
Despite the cost I purchased. CORUS labs sent me brand new unit, unopened. The cost however is comparable to that being sold in USA for $119. I purchased to enable SONOS ARC soundbar stream music stored in my cell phone. The option of streaming music using wifi and sonos 2 software is nothing but frustration. SONOS has no bluetooth. Therefore the only option I have is to enable bluetooth connectivity using a bluetooth receiver.PROSEasy to pair with the setback that it should not have been paired with other devicesRange is excellent and tested for 100 feet with wall obstructions and the signal remained strong as evidenced by the music volume.Very well made using aluminum and the unit comes with power adapter, and cables.Music quality is good with emphasis on bass. As expected sound is only stereophonic.CONSUnit can only be paired with one device at a time. If already paired it will not accept another device until the existing is unpairedCost is high though the cost on Amazon site is comparable to international rates. As with all devices of this nature adapters are needed to connect to music systems with HDMI inputs. I am using an AV to HDMI adapter purchased on Amazon site.Cables supplied are not of high quality. I suggest purchasing good quality cables with gold plating.

Quality hardware
Quality.. That's one word to describe the product.Build: solid metal construction. It's extremely well built. It's not light like a feather and will sit sturdy on the base.Connectivity: connected Aptx-hd with my Sony XZ1 phone. And aptx from my Hiby R3 without any issues. The supplied power plug is US type, but supports 220V without issues.Sound quality: I have connected the receiver to my Norge Concerto Gold 1000 Stereo amp using AmazinBasics RCA cables, the amps drive a pair of Norge millennium speakers. The receiver gives out a stable reference voltage output. Quantitatively, I had to push the volume to 50% with the logitech receiver. With this 25% is more than enough and is at par with my Sony cd transport, of not a bit better than the Sony. The built in DAC is pretty good. I streamed a few lossless streams from my Roon controller app as well as the R3, and the sound is clear and sweet, with really good power across the spectrum. I tried out Sam Smith and Norah Jones to test the mids amd it was sweeeet! Bass sounded great in Daft Punk and trebles shined on Dire Straits. I have not connected it to an external DAC, so I'm unable to comment on the same. For now, this serves the purpose better than I expected.Tip: I highly recommend swapping out the provided cables with the AmazonBasics cables. They are really good value for money.Update: Volume output seems to be less by about 15-20% when connected via optical fiber to a DAC (I'm using Schitt Modi 3). Source device is a Sony Xperia XZ1. It's a bit perplexing given it's a digital connection. But the same dac is also connected to a Sony BDP that I use as a audio CD transport, and it gives out a 2V reference signal, so not a dac issue afaict. Weird. Not ap roblem as such as my Amp is more than able to handle it. No issue with clarity etc as such. Only volume seems to be low. Need to try out with other BT source to check if it is due to phone. Seemed to work fine when RCA was connected tho.

Great BT audio receiver.
Great Bluetooth audio receiver. Has a good inbuilt DAC. The audio is a bit heavier on the Bass ( Bass lovers will love it). I have no complaints. Has very good connectivity. Picks up signals even across two walls and I get coverage throughout my apartment. So very happy with the pick. The build quality is good. Has a good metal case and the size is also real small to fit in anywhere. If your budget allows, pls go ahead and convert your old HT’s into wireless.

Plug and play
It was just simple plug and play. The streaming music was high quality. No Cons presently observed, apart from its stiff price.

Incredible
Used it to connect my smartphone to the Marantz KI series amplifier which is further connected to Klipsch reference speakers. The amp has 32bit processing and so does this Bluetooth receiver. Totally bowled over by the performance. Stunning reproduction. Every penny well spent.Anyone serious about music, go for it.

Over gain loud, no lower bass, no upper highs
Gain is too loud. Vocals range is over boosted. Lower bass ie rumble freq is missing. Upper treble portion is also missing.Overboosted gain of mid range results in less hearing of lower and high range. If listened carefully, speed of the becomes fast ie dac is not tuned optimally.Frequency range production is very poor.Does not automatically standby. Not recommended

Hi-Fi stereo at best.
The media could not be loaded. Music. Blue tooth connectivity for my system, it is Bi-amped, I use a marantz 10 band graphic equaliser, a Harman Kardon Amplifier drives my base and Pioneer Amplifier drives my Highs. The Speakers are Infinity, bought 30 years ago. Man I am good! 😁
