I wanted to replace my shield remote and all the reviews said that this would work but no one know how to program it to learn your tv remote.Yes the directions were written by someone who's English is not their first language it's very obvious.I was able to figure out what they were trying to tell you and how to program it but for some reason it would not control my TV. Luckily I didn't give up and I kept trying and I realized they missed one critical step in the directions how to program the remote to control your TV. So I decided to write this review and give the steps on how to learn the remote for your TV.1). Press the tv button until it turns green.2). Press and hold tv button until you see the red light under the mute button start to flash then release the tv button.3). Piont the tv remote and the new remote at each other so the irises are facing each other4). Press the power button on the tv remote, if you have done it right the new remote red light should start to flash fast.****Next is were they forgot to explain.*****5). Press on the new remote the power button. (The red light should now start to flash slow like it did when you first held it down.)6). Press and hold the tv button until the red light goes out.Your done!You can repeat this step for any other buttons you want to program. ( like volume up and down ).One other thing , green is the dung controls ( for the android tv box) red is to control anything you programmed like your tv .You can change from red to green by pressing the tv button. It is a little backwards thought.Example: If you want green (to control andro box ) you press tv until it turns red and then you press the button you want and it is green and if you press tv until it is red then the next button you press will be green ( to control your programmed buttons for tv ).I hope this helps.Please press helpful button if it helped so I know .

Really nice remote. Buttons work fine but are just to small for my liking. The most used buttons are on the upper portion and are quite small for my liking. The response is great though.

device works great only issue i have is when using it with my Nvedia shield box the Iof to turn the volume on the box and use the Tv volume to turn the Tv up and down to prevent a fluctuating volume think this is more box related though...device is great

I've had this for along time. Hook up and setup very easy and simple. Everytime I push ok it wants to repush ok again 5-15 seconds again. Everytime I push ok the first time it forces me to do it again. Every movie, every tv show, and every pause. Click back on, after over a year of use I want to smash it. It's very annoying as they're no way I can keep up with the number. Every every TIME!!! First bad review ever. Can't even use the restroom, get a drink, take a call, and just everything. Got whatever or wherever or whenever the ok button is pushed!!!

Microphone works really well compared to other remotes. My husband likes this one so much that he ordered a second one just in case our kids break it lol

I love this remote especially because of my Arthritis its features and raised buttons are easy on my hands.

ProsMicrophone works correctly on the shield.Replacement mouse button correct if using as an air mouse.Air mouse activate by the button on remote.Limited ir remap available (not tested) I think for power and volumne onlyNice shape, size not to big but bigger enough not to go down sofa all the time.Cons.Seem to eat batteries once a week I believe due to airmousr and microphone use.Suggested ImprovementsAllow all buttons to be remapped.USB chargingLost remote sounder.

The G30 is a great air-mouse, probably the best out of the bunch. And it's got voice-control, perfect for the TV-Box if you're lazy like me and don't like typing. I haven't tried the voice function with windows yet. I've got two, one for the Android TV-Box and one for the windows 10 Notebook. Just plug and play and Bob's your uncle, Emma's your aunt :)

Works great and I would have left a 5 star review, BUT, the gyro air-mouse feature didn't last a day. All other buttons are good. A shame, because its better than my Shield oem remote. I need the air-mouse.

This arrived on time and exactly as described. Easy to use, instructions fairly simple and for the price is an improvement on the one that I used for my Nvidia shield. Has made operating it easier.

it did work at the start but after Nivida shield update it worked but sound control remote stopped working on it and old nivida shield remote also had problem with the sound
