Works week. Nice look

It looks great once installed and good quality unit but the installation was more difficult than anticipated, even for an experienced diy-er. I’m still rating 5 stars because of cost, but I’d recommend two people for the install and a few hours dedicated. The wires have to be stuffed inside the base which don’t want to fit. Then once you get them in, the wires are pushing so hard downward on the base it makes it not flush with the ceiling, leaving an 1/8” gap between the ceiling and the top of the base. After a few hours of playing with it I was able to eliminate this gap. I would recommend some additional heavy duty drywall anchors.

Exactly the right light for the space. I was afraid a larger light would be too crowded with the shelf but this works perfect! Pretty easy to install but definitely required 2 people to do so with the high ceiling. We also had one screw that was included that didn’t fit and had to run to the store to get the proper fit. But, it looks wonderful and adds a nice light to the nook.

Nice lights! Wish the cables were rods, though, it would’ve made for a prettier chandelier.

We bought this for our stairs landing area and it is perfect. We put in the Phillips HUE Colored bulbs and the husband and kids love to play with the colors. I personally prefer it to be white and match my lights at the top, but they love choosing individual lights and colors as you can see in the photos. It was a bit of a pain for installing with the tiny screws, weight, and the location we were installing. You can adjust the lengths of each light which is very nice and why we chose it for that location since the ceiling height is so high. To place in a kitchen I would imagine it would need to have quite a bit of length taken up from each light.

The three lights can be length-adjusted individually. Installation can be a little more difficult than a "normal" fixture. You must first attach a mounting bracket to the ceiling. I used drywall anchors that I already had on hand. Then you must mount the fixture to the mounting bracket. This requires that all of the wiring and wire nuts be wrangled inside the fixture cover plate while inserting four screws around the perimeter. The end result is worth the effort.

This is a beautiful, modern chandelier and looks perfect in my living room. However, it was so difficult to put together I couldn't believe it. The electrician ended up having to saw 2 pie-shaped pieces on either side of the wallboard to tuck the extra cord up inside; otherwise, the cover wouldn't fit. There is a photo in the listing showing all 5 pieces the same short length. I would have to say that would be impossible to do without completely tearing up the ceiling above the light fixture to make room for all the extra cord. This would be perfect for a cathedral ceiling, especially in a foyer. My electrician made it work, and I was delighted, but this fixture really needs to go where the majority of the cord is hanging out. A standard ceiling will not accommodate this well. My floor plan and furniture was adaptable to it, but most people's heads probably would crash into it. Bottom line is I would only recommend it for a cathedral ceiling installation.

I bought these awhile ago as we were waiting for our to be built. I have in the hallway going up the stairs. It's a nice look.
