They hold my bread cloche at 500 but the tags melted on my cloche ( cast iron) bread baker. Cut tags off! Feel this should have been in the instructions.

Heat resistance is great. But the flexibility to maneuver different size is limited. It is clumsy - unlike the better, double-terry from stores like William Sonoma and others.
