Excellent sound at this price point
I’m a long time Paradigm user, first becoming a fan of the brand back in the early 90s when I bought a pair of Titan bookshelf speakers, which are still highly regarded by audio enthusiasts to this day. These Monitor SE 6000f floorstanders do not disappoint. Great sound for the money. If you’re an audio enthusiast but not the type that thinks they need to spend thousands on a pair of speakers, get these. One of the best values in speakers out there.

Nice looking speaker
I was a little disappointed in these. I have some old Paradigm Titan bookshelves that I was hoping to replace with these when my subwoofer went down. UPS beat the crap out of them in the shipping process. The boxes had large holes in them and looked like they had been through the war. Fortunately, at least visually, the speakers weren't damaged. These are very attractive speakers and being from Paradigm I had high expectations. Probably too high given that they are only $600 speakers. They sounded different than my Titans (which are very good speakers) but not better. Not worse, just different. I returned them since they didn't seem like an upgrade over what I had. I think they are a good value if you need some good speakers at a good price.

Audiophile towers for not much more than big box speakers
I bought some cheap Polk T50 towers from a big box store for my home theater, but was not impressed. After researching entry level audiophile towers, I decided on the Paradigm Monitor SE6000's. These towers are remarkably spacious and open in their sound delivery. The high's are crisp without being tiring and the mid-bass is tight and clean. For movies, it delivered great punch when it was needed without any distortion. But the music.....wow. These towers opened up the widest soundstage I've heard in a pair of speakers. I can't say that I've listened to $2000+ audiophile towers, but my ears absolutely love the warmth and clarity these Paradigms deliver. I played everthing from the Three Tenors to Sammy Hagar through these and I am extremely happy with the sound. These SE6000's may be the best value out there today. You won't be disappointed.

Audiophile review
If you have any real experience with a high quality speaker then you know the difference. These are not a great speaker for music, more box store quality HT type. The high's are clear but a little thin, the midrange is recessed, bass is a little muddy but if you don't know any better you'll think they're great speakers. Even compared to my old pair of 7se MkII they don't deliver the level of musicality you would expect based on most of the reviews.
