Aqua Signal 84400-7 Dual Tone Electronic Hidden Horn - Black, Small

This horn was substantially larger than the one that came on my boat so it did take me some clever fabricating to get a good fit. It was well worth the effort because as irritating a sound as these make, it is much louder than the original and very effective. At the end of the day, for me, that is what is important. All in all, it is exactly what I needed. Thank you.

I reserve the right to lower my rating in the future, but the horn worked great as a replacement horn on my Yamaha 240 boat. My original horn had the silver chrome cover, which I was able to use on this replacement horn as well. The only remotely negative comment I could possibly state is that the lead wires were a bit shorter than I would have expected. I am concerned with the longevity of the horn based on other comments, but until it breaks it stays at 5 stars.

It’s just not very loud , works fine

The original horn in my 2006 Yamaha SX210 died. This is the same horn, so I knew it would fit. New horn works, hopefully for longer than the original.

Replaced the horn on my boat twice with this model. OEM part failed as well as both replacements. Each time the horn lasted about three months. Very quiet. Only reason I tried replacing it with the same horn was because it was a direct replacement for the OEM horn. Will not by again. Cheap!!!

No factory plug anymore, you need to use your old one.

I was happy to find this horn so cheap compared to the Yamaha dealer but once installed I understood why, you could barly hear it even with the boat off and sitting on the trailer. I don't know if I had a lemon but it was worthless as far as a safety measure.
