Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product has at least three times the air flow than my current vents had. I am going to be replacing all my vents with these and I highly recommend I mend them!

Looks good. More substantial than the one we replaced that was rusty. The fins on the vent need to be moved by hand so this is good only if you don’t plan to change the airflow often.

I needed to adjust the airflow from my heating register, so it was not all directed in a single direction. This register worked perfectly. It has reduced "hot spots" in my basement.

Happy with the quality and love that the seller had all the other sizes we need for our DIY home renovation project. I first saw this type in a hotel room and was so impressed with the amount of air flow and how they were so flexible with how you direct the airflow. Very easy to install if replacing existing vents as ours fit right in the same holes.Love them!

We have an upstairs bedroom that has 2 vaulted ceiling walls (so only 'batting' the thickness of roof joists between a shingle-over-tarpaper decked roof, and the internal sheetrock), on the west side of the house, in TX, that gets an obvious (I've used temp sensors) 2-3deg F hotter than the rest of the upstairs by late afternoon in the summer.This ceiling register isn't something you'd want to adjust 'dynamically' often, it doesn't have a single lever arm that adjusts all the vanes, you have to rotate each one independently in 2 layers, and the top layer is easiest to adjust before installation. This also isn't the type you'd want to use if you intended to be able to "close" it (for a rarely used room) occassionally. But if you want the ability to adjust all of them in X and then Y to target the cool air dump right over a particular part of the room (e.g. desk chair at a computer) for comfort, this is the bee's knees. Very noticable difference vs. the usual interior-shuttered and exterior 2-direction 'scooped' type stamped vent shape ceiling register.
