Set Screws Can't Keep Round Shank Bits From Spinning
It's well made, solid and straight. My 1 3/8" bit has a 1/2" round shank and needed a little coaxing to get it in. The set screws could not keep the bit from spinning. I ended up grinding a flat spot on the shank and that solved the problem.

Just buy these, skip the other cheapo ones
These are very nice Donโt buy the cheaper ones. If you have a round or tri flat or hex, these work great. Using them to extend my step drill bits.

The bit extension is what I expected.and serves its purpose.
It's durably built. You can tell it's well constructed when you first pick it up. The screws does hold the bit in place very securely. I found that to be the case even when only one of the two screws is used. But I due recommend using both when possible. As stated on Amazon. All 3/8 inch bits are not the same. I had three - one didn't fit at all, another only fit deep enough to reach one of the screw holes (which was sufficient), a third one fit completely where both screws could be used to secure the bit. My suggestion would be to get the smallest 3/8 inch shank you can find or get the one that's from the manufacturer of the extension. The one that fits perfectly I found at Ace Hardware, so that's another option. The others I had came from Harbor Freight Tools and Home Depot. Not a kock on these great outlets, just saying their 3/8 shank don't appear to perfectly fit the extension from this manufacturer.

Wrong size Allen wrench
The 1/8" Allen wrench included does not fit the set screws, which require a 7/64" Allen wrench. Otherwise, the item appears to be well-made.

This works great. especially on HEX SHANKS.
I have a grizzly 31 piece set and I wasn't sure which extender would work. Grizzly customer support told me they didn't even have anything but it existed online somewhere. Pretty helpful. I took a chance on this and it works really well. This thing is very sturdy and a lot bigger than I expected. Has two fairly standard screws built in along with a little hex key. I recommend duct-taping a few small magnets (or a long skinny one) to the shaft to hold the key so it doesn't get lost. At standard forstner bit speeds its not going to create wobble or fly off. If using hex shanks you will want to rotate them so that the screws when tightened will be flush with the hex face. In other words don't tighten down on the sharp edge of the hex shank obviously. I was a bit worried the screws wouldn't go in far enough to properly secure a hex-shank, but this was not an issue at all. Once secured, I had no trouble drilling 7 inches in.

ok
Not milled quite as precisely as I would like but still able to make it work for the most part.

Buena calidad

Sturdy and works well
I was very pleased with this extension but and was able to use it with a forstner bit to bore out an end grain vase to a depth of about 9inches. The only caveat is to beware of the diameter in the boss with the locking grub screws as this sets the minimum diameter that can be bored out and I couldn't use my 2x smallest bits. It should be obvious, but you have to keep withdrawing the lathe tailstock to clear the shavings from the hole.

It works and is solidly built.
I use it primarily for drilling deep holes in wood turning projects.

Solidly made.
Sturdy but I had to grind the shafts of my Forstner bits before they would fit.

Nice extension for Forstner bits
Need to drill a deeper hole that the length of your Forstner bit allows? Get this. Finish is pretty good, all my bits fitted snugly - nice extension, no issues, very pleased with this purchase.
