Works great only 36miles so far but it's a blast. On a single speed bike so only does 25, but gets there fast. Two 18 mile trips so far and a blast. Installation was pretty straight forward, do watch the Installation videos on you tube, if you don't then don't complain about the lack of instructions. Buy the correct battery or don't complain that it doesn't work . If you read a negative reveiw on this motor it's usually followed by I didn't want to spend the money on a 48v ebike battery so I put(insert Frankenstein battery configuration here), but not the battery's fault this motor doesn't work. Oh the back brake cutoff cable won't reach , they do sell one but wasn't a problem for me so not going to bother with it. I love riding a bike now , am 50 out of shape,and haven't ridden a bike in years. 200 plus miles now runs like a champ! Update 7/2/21 400 miles no issues. 100 degrees out here right now no problems. 7/31/21 at 700 miles no issues. I haven't changed the chain or done any real maintenance except to patch a flat. If you're in the Spokane area I went from downtown Spokane to Stateline Idaho with a 20ah battery and had battery left. That's about 49 miles round trip, and I was confident enough in this motor I wasn't at all worried that I would wind up walking. Update: 1069 miles. I ran cable housing from top to get my gears back and loving being able to climb hills. It will go up freya street hill in spokane wa. at 10 m.p.h. in the worst parts with no peddling from me. There's a write up on the hill online that has the distance , grade , ect . I have ridden it in snow and ice , it did surprisingly well but I didn't enjoy it so once was enough. I have about the cheapest around town set up ,Genesis Villati bike 10 ah lifepo4 battery. I get about 15 miles on fairly flat 10 if lots of steep hills. 20ah battery in backpack for long trips .

Good motor however my display has absolutely no manual how am I supposed to program it??? And their is nothing online. I have a customer waiting and I can't give them their bike cause yall incompetence. I need a reply as soon as possible

1 Month & 20 Miles, No Problems So Far!!!! Easy Install, but spend the money on a crank removal tool or just cut off your old cranks with a cut off wheel. I opted to not install the head light. You only need a 10Ah Battery, unless you are really hard core. The 10Ah Battery I purchased last for days, but I only use it on the farm to move irrigation and run down to the community store.(2 Miles Away) The motor is quite, the 500c display is super bright. I reduced my display from the 5 setting to number 2 and its still bright even in the direct sunlight. The 500c is also eastly customizable from KM/MPH, Wheel Size, ect... The throttle is glitchy if you try and run the bike slow, but once you go past the initial startup it works great. It has 5 different pedal-assist mode so most of the time you wont even use the throttle. I will defiantly be building a fat tire version.

This in combination with a 20 amp hr battery and my trek 720 is a new fascinating experience. Powerful efficient and fun. Glad to ride with my exercising wife. More road time 15-20 mile rides no problem.

A deceptive ad that states with battery, Really it is an option. Tired of these ads that try to trick people Amazon! please start putting you foot down on these practices!!!

AMAZING! Love it so much better than the store bought hub motor bikes! Easy install with all the youtube videos.

First one was doa, didn't find out until install done, had to remove all my work. However, I got a replacement THE NEXT DAY!!!! Talk about fast! Replacement installed, took it for a quick test and seems to be working fine, I will update after I test it out for a bit.

Q-factor & centre line needs to be considered on 73mm BB. Ended up fitting to BB68 frame with ~10mm offset....! Love the look and programmability of the 500C display
