Why did you pick this product vs others?: As a daily rider, I so don't want the summer heat to compromise an amazing ride. I keep this cooling towel stashed in my top box, and it's so simple to use: just soak it with cool water, wring it out, and drape around my neck. This is achieved almost anywhere that has tap water, or from my water bottle, if necessary. I place the flat middle part of the towel against my throat, and wrap the ends around my neck. My motorcycle jacket collar keeps it snug in place, and the cool dampness of this towel instant decreases my body temperature. It's basically my own portable, cheap, easy swamp cooler! I chose a three pack: one for me, one for my boyfriend (who's also a daily rider), and a spare one thrown into my car's glove box. So handy and a definite staple for motorcycling, especially now the summer heat's picked up here in Southern California.

One of the ladies I work with also works in a warehouse and I was trying to explain this item to her. She had never heard of it - so I brought it for her to try. She absolutely loved it and said it really has been keeping her cooking during the summer heat inside the factory. She even said a couple of people asked where she got it from. I know these are for working out but have you ever been in a bee suit in 80+ degree heat?? These are AWESOME at helping keep you cool while inspecting bees. I use mine when I suit up anytime in the warmer months, keeps me cooler-so it allows me to move thru my inspections slowly & calmly (bees absolutely do not like to be rushed) HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Just wet them down with cold water & it keeps me cooler for at least an hour. These are machine washable just don’t use fabric softener on them.

This is a great item that is durable, dries quickly, easy to wash, and helps keep you cool. In fact, I have since purchased several of these for myself and for my family members.

The reviewer Emily was right these are not Magic. When I read about these I thought somehow they were magic like you get them wet but they don't feel wet and it keeps you cold for 2 hours that sounds awesome. That's not how these work. I bought these for travel to Thailand but I'm testing it out first in the winter in Michigan and it's kind of cold because I use cold water to make it wet and it absolutely feels wet so it's kind of just like you're putting a wet cloth over your body so I don't really get with the point of these are. I do like that packs really small for travel. But it's certainly is not something special. I've only used it the last 10 minutes and it's still wet to the touch and it doesn't feel cold in my hands really at all. I'm not even sure if I'll bring it or not. I'm not really sure if it's just this brand or if it's all of them unfortunately I can't really recommend it even though I really really wanted this thing to work out I hate the Heat maybe at the very least it keeps sun off you so that's always good. It is really light and breathable.
