Trinity - Survey of classical and contemporary thought on Trinity Theology
Excellent. Well-written. The author summarizes the gist of multiple theologians and their views on the Trinity. What I especially liked was the way she offered an explanation of that thought, not being satisfied with a single explanation, but re-expressed it in different terms so as to make the explanation clearer for the reader.I would suggest this as an excellent start / survey / refresher on Trinitarian Thought and Theology

Anne Hunt's "Trinity" book
This book by Anne Hunt is one of the best on the Trinity. It is one of six books being used in the course on the Trinity that I am taking.

Trinity in relation to other Christian doctrines
In Trinity, Anne Hunt explores the relationship between the doctrine of the Trinity and the various other "mysteries" that comprise the dimensions of Christian faith - drawing on the oft-stated but seldom explored idea that all theological topics are inter-related, and that no one doctrine exists in isolation from another. The book begins with a brief overview of the developments of the doctrine of the Trinity, as well as an exploration of the revival of trinitarian theology in the twentieth century. It then goes on to explore topics such as Trinity and salvation, Trinity and creation, Trinity and the religions etc. The approach of the book is to critically evaluate the work of significant theologians, and in this way the book serves as an excellent introduction to students and teachers alike. Hunt is a generous theologian, whose concern is to identify the contribution of her interlocutors. Thus, for example, she focuses on the insight of Augustine's doctrine of the Trinity, including his psychological analogy - contrary to the contemporary trend to blame Augustine for almost all the problems of western theology thereafter. Having said this, she does not shy away from criticism where necessary.Hunt is a Catholic theologian, and many of her sources and assumptions reflect this orientation (as does some of her ommisions). Nevertheless, this book is a jem for all (whether protestant or catholic). I cannot praise it highly enough
