Katana great figure but, what's with the right fist on her left arm?
I bought this katana figure because i needed her to add another piece to my collect and connect killer croc which is coming along nicely anyway, when i open the package i noticed something was different about this katana for one thing she had a open right hand to hold her soultaker sword a right fist which is silver and red and a black right fist on her left arm what??????? i didn't know what to make of it my guess is some momo screwed up in the dc factory and boxed her up mistake and all anyway i had to open my other katana to make sure she had her left and right hand she did i'm a collector who buys two and opens one and keeps the other in the box but, since this katana is a reject i will keep her for parts and buy another katana to keep in the box if you wanna add her to your dc collection by all means she's awesome just make sure she has a left and right hand when you receive her.

Figure is decent but there are some qualms...
Figure has a pretty nice sculpt to it. Paint apps were spot on. The usual very good range of articulation in this line of figures. However, it’s not perfect, and there a couple of things I can see that might be negatives. To begin with there are the accessories, or the lack of. It comes with her sword because, let’s face it, it wouldn’t be a Katana figure without her signature weapon. Speaking of the sword, it’s near impossible to get out of the packaging without warping it. I went the safest route I could think of and used my knife to cut the plastic, but it still didn’t solve the problem completely. There’s also an opened grasping hand so she can hold her sword, which you’ll need to first remove the closed fist she comes with if you want her holding the sword. Once again, I chose to go the safe route by using a hair dryer on her hand/wrist area to more easily remove the fist hand and then pop the sword hand in its place, which I wasn’t a fan of because I know sometimes the figures of this type can be rather fragile, especially the ones based on female characters since they tend to have much slimmer limbs than their male counterparts. Thankfully everything went smoothly and nothing happened to break in the process. But that’s it. That’s all she comes with. Would have been nice if they would have included 2 grasping hands for her, that way there would be more options for how she could be posed with the sword, with it in either hand or with her using both hands to achieve poses like with it held out front in a classic combat-ready stance of for overhead swings etc (since a real katana is typically held in both hands during combat anyway most of the time). Also, it would have been nice to maybe have gotten some sort of scabbard for the sword as well, whether it was detachable or not, just to have somewhere to store the sword on the figure in case you did want to go with the two fisted look for a certain pose you had in mind, like how the Katana that comes in a 2-pack with a Wonder Woman figure as well (she comes with a scabbard on her back, unlike this one). Just those two little things really could have upped her appeal, I think. Another nit-picky little thing I find about this figure is the articulation. As I said, she does have the usual really decent range of motion typical of these Multiverse figures, but there are 2 areas that had me a little perplexed. The first area was her right arm, which is also her sword arm (and as I said earlier, this is her ONLY sword-holding arm). She has a piece of armor on her shoulder, right at the uppermost part of her arm. Looks good, but it interferes with the shoulder movement, limiting her ability with that arm as compared to the left one. I’ve been able to work around it so far, but just something to keep in mind. The next thing is how they opted to go with giving her torso some flexibility. I already have the Batman, Red Robin, and KGBeast figures from this series, and they all have the same “stomach crunch joint” and basic left/right pivot at the top of the hips (except KGBeast, whose torso is fixed); with this figure, however, they decided to use a swivel joint at the diaphragm, something I’m guessing was probably due to her slender female form factor not being being as conducive/flattering with the ab crunch-type joint. That in itself isn’t really a problem, but it does restrict her to less posing options than what there is with figures like the Batman and Red Robin from the same lineup in this series. Other than that, I don’t really see much else to say about the design and execution for this figure in general. Unfortunately, that’s not to say I don’t have a few more things to say about the one I own personally. If anything, I expected the same out of the joints on this figure that I got with the other 3 I already have, which is to say that the joints would all be stiff, if not overly so in some instances. That wasn’t the case at all with mine. Most of her joints came easily bendable at best, which isn’t a problem, but there are some that were already very loose. The upper chest pivot that isn’t a problem design-wise for me actually IS a problem in my figure since it’s really loose and makes her flop about and more difficult to pose than needs be. Also, her right should is a good bit more loose than her left (and from what I was expecting), which makes it her harder to get to hold certain poses if it involves her being positioned where she’s not able to get that shoulder to stay in place by counterbalancing it with some trickery of using her forearm/wrist/sword to do so (which isn’t a whole lot of options to begin with). All in all, I do like the figure and it’s a nice addition to my collection that looks good among the rest of them and is more or less scaled to where she doesn’t stick out or look awkward among any of the others, so I’m happy with my newest addition. And for that I’m very glad since I was going to have to get her anyway to get the ‘collect & connect’ piece she comes with to complete the Killer Croc figure i now only need the right arm and leg to finish (which he looks freaking awesome, by the way!), so a win-win for me. Just watch out for the price, because I was able to pick mine up locally at a certain big box store where it was the CORRECT price of just $20 that’s the MSRP set for this line of figures, which I still think the figure is worth despite the little things I listed, but only just barely. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend anything more than what I did, but I have seen the price on here fluctuate quite a few times already within the little bit since this figure was released, going for as high as just short of $30 at one point for some reason. So, in conclusion, if you can get this figure for somewhere in the range of what the right price that it SHOULD be going for is or a couple bucks more at the most, then don’t hesitate to buy it, especially if you’re trying to build that big, bad Killer Croc figure; if you can’t get it for anything less maybe $25 and you don’t need the buildable figure piece she comes with or you’re just wanting a Katana figure, I’d probably look somewhere else, like maybe the Katana/Wonder Woman action figure 2-pack that as of right now is only going for $30, because that would be a much better value-for-dollar purchase in my opinion. However, if you DO need this one to get that Killer Croc piece and the price for this figure has been manipulated by poachers to artificially inflate the assumed price value, then I’d probably just go check an auction site to if there’s either a brand new figure for a more reasonable price or if there’s possibly a listing selling just the Killer Croc piece by itself.

La figura no es de la mejor la calidad y es básica pero tiene un buen esculpido, la cara es muy bonita. Creo que vale la pena tenerla sobre todo por el precio tan barato.
