It's ok
They definitely work however I used nails to keep mine up. They will not stay up otherwise. I went up b and q and made my own window screen. This is perfect for that. I got 4 rectangles of wood, nailed them together with the dimensions of my window and put this over ith then staple gunned the mesh to it. Works very well

Works well
Simple and quick to set up, good value for money -this was one of the cheapest I found. Works really well so far!The netting is the perfect style and barely affects the view.Allows you to access the window to open/close it.Slight problems for me:- there wasn't enough velcro tape to do 2 windows (shown in my photos), so I did have to buy extra velcro strips from a craft shop for one. The net still fixes onto that.- if you don't want rough/ uneven edges, maybe try another style of net with an edge, or find a sharp penknife or scissors to cut this one with (I used tiny old scissors, but I don't mind the raggedy edges; you barely notice they're there!)

The glue isn't strong. After a night the stripes peel off
Very disappointed. I needed this item to be protected from spiders getting into my bathroom and bedrooms, unfortunately the glue isn't that strong to keep the stripes stocked to the window frame. Waste of money.

Mosquito free house for less than the cost of a pint
Ok, so there are some people co.plaining about this product on here, for a start it's only £3.27, what did you expect? Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen and the cast of changing rooms to come and fit it for you? There is nothing wrong with the tape, as long as you follow the instructions and clean your window frames first (which I guarantee are dirtier than you think)If you're going for a top window, please use a safe method of getting up there to stick the tape on, nobody wants to end up in A and E just because theyre trying to get rid of a few bugsMeasure twice, cut once my DT teacher used to say. And use a decent pair of scissors on the netting. Seriously, not those red handled things you used to have at school (or green and yellow if you were a leftie)But alas, I digress... Yes this probably wont last forever but will it last long enough for the two weeks of the year when it's so hot you're sweating in your bedroom and you daren't open the windows for fear of 800 mosquitos and other assorted creatures of the night entering your room? Yeah it will. And I'd buy another one for next year.Do yourself a favour and stick a fan in front of your newly bug proof window to draw the cold air in and help you service the hell-hole that is poorly made British houses in the one week of summer where it's not chucking it down with rain.

Tape peels away.
This product was cheap but i expected it to work at least for 24 hours or more. The velcro tape is extremely narrow but easy to fit. As for the netting I found it hard to cut a straight line. It took some time to attach it to the velcro tape but eventually it was done. this was about 4pm by 11pm moths were coming in through the gaps where the velcro tape had peeled away. I believe the velcro tape is far too narrow and not fit for purpose.Bad buy!

Great value, but issue with velcro tape.
Inspite of cleaning the window frame (pvc) thoroughly prior to applying the supplied velcro tape on to it, the tape would eventually come off. Having purchased this type of screening before I've never had issues with the tape. Poor sticking/bonding strength of the velcro tape.

very cheap and feels it, but pretty effective too
It is basically a long thin strip of Velcro backed with an adhesive strip (which you stick round your window and a big piece of lace-like nylon or similar which you attach to to the velcro. It is obvious that there is a barrier stuck across the window, but also it is very effective and you CAN still see through it.This kit covered two fairly large opening bedroom windows and we have rarely had a fly in the house since fitting it.
