The Wires are copper, so that was a plus compared to my stereos cheap metal. I installed this in a 2010 chevy aveo, so the only tricky part at first was that chevy crosses the power and ground between the two sockets. However, just read the wire diagrams of both and you should be fine. They stuck to the wire color industry standards so it was pretty easy to do. My install notes are below for the whole car stereo build. I don't have answers to questions outside of that vehicle and stereo parts I selected.I bought my daughter a 2010 Chevy Aveo LT. It runs, but is nothing more to me than a safe car for her to learn how to drive at an equitable cost. When the danger of her banging it up and crashing goes down, she can work on getting a newer car. So my GOAL for the stereo upgrade, was to provide her a rearview camera, FM radio and the option to play her iphone songs on it (and Bluetooth capability to receive calls). I also wanted an older school volume dial for easy and quick volume changes should she need it. It has the feel about it that it could break. cti, for the price, I am willing to experiment and see if this stereo lasts. So far the touch screen works fairly well. However, the GUI seemed a bit off. Mainly, it was not immediately apparent whether the touch screen did not work, or that function on the stereo did not work. After experimenting with it, it appears that if an option is not available (i.e. a video source, or something that activates the file explorer), then it will appear active, but you cant press and activate the menu button.I have not installed the rear camera yet, But will update this post after I have. And I will update every few months to let people know if it is still working so you can gauge the longevity vs cost issue.I am sure every shortcut on process and quality parts in the production were made for low cost, which inevitably shorten lifespan.However, the Radio receives far better reception than my $400+ Pioneer stereo in my Camaro. The amount of options and items that come with this kit make it worth it. They even included electrical tape.The stereo is a tight fit in the recommended dash kit. I had to modify the last bezel insert piece so that we had access to the volume knob, in/out accessories & the Bluetooth microphone (which works surprisingly well). I also had to modify the mounting kit on the backside of the stereo, as the holes did not line up and I needed to prevent the stereo from sliding back from the dash as continue pushing on the touch screen occurred. To do this, I hammered the stereo’s mounting brackets flat, mounted them to the stereo, then used about 8- 10 zip ties to attach the scoshe kit to the stereo mounting bracket.

If you have a 2009 Vibe without a factory amp this is the adapter you probably need. You will need to move the red power wire.Keeping it in the same row move the red pin/wire directy to the other side of purple and green speaker wires so that all 5 of them are next to each other. Then with a multimeter or test light make sure it only has power when the key is on.

Match the colors using the butt connectors of your choice.

Workings Perfect, minus not having the steering wheel controls which I already knew

Works for my 2010 vibe, already had an extra ACC to connect to the deck so I ignored the one on the harness, apparently is not in the correct pin spot anyways
